here's the problem:

i have a midi with pads, and i want to make leads from them
in FL studio there is an option in midi editing which makes such things

i'm looking for a plugin for ableton so i can make leads and basslines (for trance music)

Maybe this forum topic on KVR audio might help you further?

(I only took a quick look at it, so I might be wrong)

if you are on windows there is a little programme called Sweet Midi Arpeggiator from Roni Music, free. Can be used with Midi Yolk or Mapel midi and you can play through that to get an arp going - simple app but quite useful

So if I get this right, you want a lead but you don't actually want to spend the time deriving it manually from your chord progression?

Just do it man. Drink some coffee or a couple red bulls and then throw down notes until you get it sounding the way you want. Unfortunately no program or plugin is going to create a beautiful/addictive/ideal lead for you... at most it's just going to arpeggiate a few notes from your chord progression.
