First of all Hi, First real post YAY!:yeah:, hope to learn something from lurking around here.

i have been playing with reason for the last few weeks now and i am getting the hang of using it but i can make beats but i can't get my head around making the actual song. i am a bit new to this but i just need some help molding what i want. i have been searching for documentation but have not found anything quite useful as yet.

do you mean how to use functions on reason that you are unsure on using to get something done with your mix?
If you know how to use it, you wont find documentation on how you should make your mix except for the useful how to use this guide.
You have to use your own judgement on that part, thats the thing behind mixing yourself. You make it.

Ableton is handy for arranging a song. Rewire reason and ableton. Create loops in reason, export them to ableton, and then rearrange them in ableton until you stumble across a song arrangement that works
