Yo!
Hey guys, nice to meet you all.
My name's Jerry, as stated above :P
I'm 16 years old, and I currently reside in Ontario, Canada.
I'm a big fan of Trance, Progressive, and a bit of Progressive House.
I've been really listening to electronic music since the middle spring of 08.
I'm a full time high school student with hopes of getting into a science (biochemistry I hope!) program at university.
I've been lurking around the forums for quiet a while, but never got around to joining the community. I'm glad I finally have! I hope you guys treat me with kindness and hospitality. Thank you! :icon_mrgreen:

I used to live there :)

We own a house in Orleans.

That was 5 years ago when I was younger... Are there any big parties there now?

Oh wow! That's not tooo far from where I live, like 30-45 minutes haha.
Hm, well..I'm 16 so I can't really go to any parties haha, but...a few well known DJ's have been in Ottawa this year. I know Andy Moor came to Club Heaven a month ago..haha!

Ooooo

Well 3 more years! or is every party 21 and older now?

Then again you can just take a trip to Montreal lol :P

Haha, yeap! I think all parties are 18+ with ID. I don't know if they're too strict on the drinking age since it's 19 I think?
True true! But I don't have any party hardy friends :( haha. I'm the "weird" guy because all my other friends listen to the mainstream U.S chart music, while I'm just the pure electronic music listener XD

hey jerry welcome to TF!! i know how you feel being the only one into electronic music, but you will eventually meet people who are into it as well (probably when you get to university). and biochemistry eh? well let me tell you, biochemistry is a very difficult science and requires a lot of memorizing haha. so you're planning to go to university of ottawa?

Thanks! Well, I do have two friends at school that do listen the type of stuff I listen to, but they're more into the mainstream stuff. ah!

Ah, are you in biochemistry or know someone in that field studying that stuff? Yikes! Well my marketing and law teacher has been making me memorizing tons of stuff for his tests, hopefully it'll pay off for me in university then! :P Yup! Most likely. My parents don't want me out of the city just because it costs to much to live by myself.

yeah i know a couple of people in the biochemistry specialist and major programs here. i took a biochemistry course just this past semester and it was very interesting, but a lot of memorizing was involved. if it interests you then it shouldn't be a problem, after all, you should pursue what you find most fascinating in life. good luck! :)
