We have sections which cater for this yes, but so far the content is of a questionable quality and is not delivered in a timely & consistent manner.
What we are looking for is someone who can rectify this, by:
- Delivering exclusive content (doesn't have to be leading / breaking news) but needs to be written especially for TF. Not a mere copy and paste from another source. We aren't here for duplicating other sites. A perfect example of this would be a new interview with an artist.
- Helping keep TF'ers on top of the scene and the latest developments by delivering news articles for the site.
Content wise:
Party/Events
Interviews
Reviews
etc...
They'd be working alongside the moderation team, a degree of communication between us would be necessary.

Actually, a note to the perspective editor. Being on facebook and adding events to your profile will help you out in a massive way. People on Facebook are amongst the first to find out about upcoming venues and other music related promotions.

I am actually quite experienced in this area. Is this a paid position?

Sadly no
If it was a paid position I'd already be doing the job quite frankly :p

i wish i could write interesting articles and had the time for it..
But does this also mean TF is becoming more and more of a portal rather than just a forum?

Unfortunaly we don't any money, I just put money in it.
Id be paying myself first.. and the current mods would be millionaire for all the work they've done already.
Does that mean you're not interested anymore?

That is correct.
What is your opinion about it?

I definately like the idea!
It probably will bring a bit more overview on trancefix. Right now everything is structured, but not really organised in my opinion.
For example it would be fun to have charts based on topic popularity in the (upcoming)releases section.
