when you press HIDE button you get this





then all you need to do is write HIDE=50000 in the first brackets

So what about voting for more categories? We can make other topic for this or put it in the same, any difference. Counting this votes will not be very hard, i think :P Or maybe make a poll? Earlier we all have to choose some compilations/albums/producers/labels.

I don't think "The Best Of Paul Van Dyk" should be under artist albums since it's just a compilation of old material... in which case, it shouldn't really be included at all (although "Vonyc Sessions 2009" is coming out in a couple days, so that could go under compilations). Just saying... good job with the rest though. :tongue:

Isn't there about 8 moderators for this forum? About 4 more than probably needed and you ask for help in building the forum still? Sorry if that seems a little harsh but that amount of ''staff'' should be able to handle such moderate request's imo.

Why so many moderators then? Fair enough if there was 3 of you but to have so many and still ask for help seems a little petty and lazy imo, if the so called ''staff'' cant do the official opening of a simple poll / thread then like I said I can't see the need for so many Mod's?? Not having a go because in general you all do a good job + i'm not fussy enough anymore to argue over something so petty.

I'll be blunt, we don't need 8 mods to moderate the site to an acceptable level. It is beneficial in a sense that a website is a 24/7 thing and 1-2 people can't be on all the time however. We have recently discussed a restructure within the team but ultimately it is for any individuals concerned to come to a decision on how they help the team for the future.

As for the development of ideas, these are always discussed further if they prove sensible and show promise to the site in initial discussions. We then look to see if they are feasible & beneficial and if given the nod they will be implemented. The main bottleneck when it comes to seeing them reach the light of day is that we have only one admin / coder whose time is already constrained by other things. Progression is not quick on the site I know but we do not have the financing to bring a professional coder onto the boards.

No it isn't wrong atall, as a regular member to the forum, I will participate in as much as I possibly can, to me as a regular member that is contributing to the forum's life, There is no need to repeat myself as it is all above but I just feel a moderator opening such a thread & making it a sticky would make it slightly more official, sorry im trying to say this without looking like I am having a real go or anything but I really do feel that request was something that one of the mod's could have spent 5 minutes on, I also apreciate that you all have lives outside of a forum! But like I said 5 minutes + what I mentioned above.......way off topic so I will leave it at that!

Same here, I didn't vote either. I am really not familiar with what is going on musically in other countries so it's a little tough for me to understand what's popular right now on a worldwide level.
