I'm really sad that Sebastian Brandt - 450 is not on the top 25.

I honestly think that it's the best track of 2010. The main melody is just awesome! The breakdown aways gives me goosebumps! But, on the other hand, I'm glad that tracks like Listening, Miss You and True Romance are on the Top. They're one of my fev of last year! =)

As for my take on this list - it's really nothing i didn't expect. A lot of people vote for popular tracks (read: ASOT playlisted tracks) and there's just nothing you can do about it but accepting it. I don't really see this as a negative though, i haven't got such a strong desire to see MY personal top 10 there because that's just not how these things work, so i'm perfectly fine with this.

Besides, i do actually like a lot of the tracks in this - but that's taste for ya' ;) Also the experience of the set being played for the first time on ah.fm yesterday was just great.

It's annoying to see people fighting and crying because of ASOT, DJ Mag's or whatever pools.

If you think that a pool is going to be cool, then listen. If it's bad, was your choice to listen to it. I listened to TFs list because I thought it would be good. And it was. Of course that the tune of the year is a song that personally, I dislike a lot, but at all it was a good list. Aswell I didn't listened to ASOT's list because I thought it would be bad. And it was.

Pools will never change your likes. (I guess :icon_mrgreen:) It's just question of don't feeling bad because people admire things that you don't, or thinking that the new trance fans will be Yuri Kane-trance-based fans because of those lists.

I don't understand all the hate for Yuri Kane - Richt Back. To me its somewhat reminiscent of Andain - Beatiful Things with its minimal melody.
However I do miss Sebastian Brandt - 450, definitely one of the best tracks of the year. Also sad to miss my personal favourites Velvatine - Safe (Rank 1 remix) and Shogun - Imprisoned. Sad to see everyone jsut forgot this.

Last year "Lost" was a really 'wow' track, and I remember how everyone liked it and said its a good tune, but when it came to the top25 results (taking #1 spot), everyone suddenly started complaining. Same thing with Right Back. I bet if Sebastian Brandt - 450 would've made to #1 spot, we still would see negative comments, same with any track...

nah 450 is not a very memorable track.. I bought it but I never really play it anymore ;) miss you and angel will always be in my memory so they'd deserve the first spots more..(#2 is gr8 too!) this is personal of course but has not a lot to do with being #1 or not. I probably wasn't registered when Lost by Roger Shah went 1 but for example I think that is a well deserved one eventhough it is mainstream.

I can't really get upset about it, but I frown upon it :p

hi, i don't know if i can resurrect this thread but i wanted just to give my opinion about this top 25, so here it is:
i registered yesterday and i downloaded the top 25 and i have to say i'm very pleased with this top 25, great uplifting trance tunes, nice melodies & great vocal tracks with only one exception (Sanctuary, of course, mainstream trance is definately not for me), i was very happy to see Simon Patterson on number 3, he fully deserved that, the two remixes made by Arty were also great, Symphonica & Perception too, i loved the Andy Blueman & Artic Moon Tracks here, they are lovely & glad Philipe El Sisi Remix of Listening was there too.
Disapointements: yeah, Right Back was a pretty nice track but is WAY overrated for my taste and surely not my number 1, Aisha on number 2, not that disapointing, but i think it wasn't Armin's best track last year, imo
I'm glad Not Giving up on love didn't make it to list, too much mainstream for my taste & no Dash Berlin, glad, he didn't to the list altough i like Never Cry Again in both original and JvD Remix (even though this one is another pluck), Who.is - We.are didn't make it to the list unfortunately, i really liked that track, but after all, i enjoyed very much this top 25 and thanx to Vast Vision for his brilliant yearmix, :)

I like Markus Schulz and Perception very much, but I don't like when someone plays some oher's tune and makes only very very little changes. It should be signed Cass & Slide - Perception (Markus Schulz remix)
