Rebound is a track that always makes me feel happy, I really love that one. It's only logical to compare this to their previous collab and this does have some elements you could also hear in 'Rebound', but I really don't like this track. Might work in clubs but after Rebound I expected at least something I would slightly like. I'm disappoint. :(

For just one last time, I'll say this. This is the upcoming TRANCE release section.

The problem is that nowadays so called "Trance djs" make house tunes and when somebody hears a new track from those djs they upload it here, but that doesn't have to mean that it's trance.

The problem is that nowadays so called "Trance djs" make house tunes and when somebody hears a new track from those djs they upload it here, but that doesn't have to mean that it's trance.

Yup I'll quote JOOF here, the next generation of listeners and musicians will think this is trance, therefore it will start a vicious cycle which will get worse and worse. Rather than moving the genre forward and or backward the celebrity djs are moving the genre sideways.

well actually most of the posts here are from releases that will be released in trance labels (independently if the track is trance or not) or labels that used to release trance , i.e. anjunabeats...

Exactly, most are going to be released in the "Trance" section by "Trance" labels - whether they are Trance or not they still will feature around the Trance name

Exactly. That's why names like Arty, etc are around the trance scene (he did some nice trancey stuff a time ago, and he releases stuff on anjuna, a label that used to release quality trance)

We're listening the same music like the videogames soundtracks produced in the 90'..

I remember that videogames like Sonic had similar melodies.

It's pure shit and it's nothing new.

Evolution? What evolution, cheesy and simple electronic music that were used as ambient music for arcade videogames is now the most popular sound in the world.

"Sounds good live" is one of the dumbest arguments used when anything else fails.

Don't agree, not every track have to be melodic masterpiece for ears, some tracks are made just for playing it live, making crowd going. Not like I'm defending this horrible track, but still, this is an argument for tracks that may be boring for home listening.

I'm not comparing the tracks themselves, just the high standard they were at when these two last paired up. It's like to have thought they could have matched or got close to it this time, on first listen they have fallen short. But like Zara and Around the World by Arty, they are growers and after a few listens I really start to like them, maybe this will too.

I agree! Around the World sounded shitty the first time I've heard it, but after a few listens it started to sound better and better!
