Which host you prefer? Megaupload, Rapidshare etcetc

On addition to the sticky thread where i wrote a bunch of hosts here some space to give your opinion about which host you prefer the uploaders to use.

Maybe via the poll the uploaders can easily see what we all prefer so they can keep this in mind for their next uploads.

Till now i prefer to use Megaupload and Rapidshare.
Megaupload is slow but the links have a long lifetime and there is no max of slots or something like that.
Rapidshare also has a long lifetime but the bad thing of this hosts is the 1 hour waiting time after you download something from there.

So, my vote goes to Megaupload!

I personally prefer megaupload, mainly because it`s easy to use and you get rewards.

I`m really not bothered about the upload time and the d.load speed is pretty quick!

I voted for sendspace, but really I like rapidshare, mega, and sendspace equally... mega gets kinda annoying with that popup of nasty looking chicks, but im use to closing it fast enough before it finish loading so im alright with that haha..

sendspace really...bcoz there's no wait time,and it allows me 2 use a download manager...megaupload is shitty 4 ppl in some countries with very few download slots,or u have 2 download Alexa toolbar which is a spyware 2 download freely...rapidshare has wait times,and u cant download 2 things after each other they make me wait 4 like an hour b4 i redownload something...files.to was good but it now does a funny thing,it says download complete while only like 10 mb is done...anyways SENDSPACE IS THE BEST

Megaupload is still my fav because I can make it queue into my download manager and download it later yeaa sometimes u did not get slot but once u get it u can resume it next time. If Megaupload didnot give u slot u can always use proxy (this doesn't work on Rapidshare).

on megaupload i have low upload transfer rate. Xpander says: "... mega gets kinda annoying with that popup..." i agree with this!!. rapidshare has some kind of limit and if i download a file and then i try to download another, tells me i have to wait 73 minutes :[ it't quite annoying!! so i prefer sendspace. but even this is not perferct and on sendspace could be not enough slots!!

rapidshare is really good but the 1 hour waiting is so boring. sendspace is great but it's boring to have to retry 2 or 3 times before getting a slot. megaupload is really great imo, even if it's a bit too slow.

I agree with you there... Sendspace is getting more and more problems while they're "growing".
Also i think sendspace's links have a shorter life time then megaupload.

Only bad thing is that in some country's people have problems downloading from megaupload as they are receiving only a small nr of slots.

Megaupload has an annoying popup but I find it is the most reliable. Rapidshare limits how much you can download and makes you wait more than an hour if you have downloaded more than a certain amount. Sendspace can be annoying when there aren't any free download spots. I think Megauplod, YouSendIt, and files.to are the best hosts. The only downside of YouSendIt is that there is a limit to the number of times the file can be downloaded.

I think Rapidshare is the best. Of course, it has limit of download, but Megaupload has limit of slots - this is muc hworse, espacially for me, cos Poland is given very little number of slots :evil:

megaupload is quite good, but there is limit for number of downloads at once, however its better then RS :P

rapidshare annoys me because it always says my IP is being used and doesnt ever let me get stuff.

My vote is for Megaupload.com

Its fast for us users from Sweden, or at least for me.
The other ones is to slow and you are allowed to download a certain number of files in a certain time.
So Megaupload.com get my vote!

I hated rapidshare. BUT!
i went and bought an account ... now i love them ... no wait ... they support resume ... worth buying.
and i can use reget with rapidshare :) so my vote goes to rapid share :)

I HATE MEGAUPLOAD, I have to refresh the link 20+ (!!!!!!!!!!!) times, to get a fickin slot, and then i have to write in a code and then wait 1 min

Sendspace... well its a reliable host. BUT your file expires after 1 WEEK!!!!!!! :icon_mad:

However everybody HATES rapidshare I prefer it because IT IS THE MOST RELIABLE SERVER I KNOW, yes i have to wait and code, but they host your files for 1 MONTH, and as I have dynamic IP, just 2 clicks and I dont have to wait 1 h :)

now Im testing www.oxyshare.com, maybe it will be the future favourite, dont know... :rolleyes:

hmm i can now que MU links to be downloaded later.. so def MU rocks...
but love RS cause it gives better speeds.... but stupid limit... somehow those hacks dont work for me on RS. dunno why .shucks!! :(

i'm with dee7a, but one thing about sendspace is that if you dont have an acct there it can be difficult to get the download to begin. I usually have to try clicking the link a few times befor i recieve the file. Other than that its a great uploading spot.

well, this is a tricky question because there are ppl prefering megaupload, others sendspace, etc. if we all had premium accounts @ megaupload it would be great. but we can't :cry: . i personally try for 3 days to get slot on megaupload and just have no chance :cry: . i personally voted for sendspace

when i upload small files i prefer rapidshare, cos the dl speed is okay and i can upload with full bandwidth. i upload huge files on megaupload, cos they don't delete files after some days. i never had problems to get a slot @ megaupload.

megaupload beats them all despite the wait time and pop up page. ( damn right 'bout them scary looking females ........ EEEK!) but the files last a really long time. sendspace?.........Ugh....... yucko......... after only 7 days they chuck stuff and they are hard to get on to. been trying for days to get one file.
