Ideas About The New Domain

we are moving to a new domain (http://lyrics.trancestation.nl/f/viewtopic_16877.html), and we still dont know what should it be

post your creative (or not) ideas about the new domain here :)

Otherwise, i prefer some names that arent that obvious (such as the popular trancevalley, which btw excludes other genres :| )

i think the name should contain the "trance" word, because we share here TRANCE. if you want to share other genres the name wont exclude them

But almost everyone type "trance" in their suggestions ;/ I think that quite stupid.
What will we do if we extend[?] forum on another types of music [im talkin about subforums] ?? another domain change ? nope :/
My suggestion is to choose sth universal. not
trancevalley.nl, not technovalley.nl or sth.
just... dunno. ;]
musicvalley.nl, soundtraffic.nl, suckmydecks.nl , earresistible.nl, membrane.nl

Yes, but the domain name shouldn't make it wrong on our identity, I mean we must keep the trance touch !

But domain should be universal, thats my position in this case ;)

Prolly I cant clearly write what I want to write, hope you get what I mean in this topic, maybe I cant get what others members mean by their posts... :/ But I want good :)

Hmmm, lelusz.. you're arguments are clear and i do agree with you but still i would prefer "trance" to be in the domain name.
Just cause it's the main subject/genre why we are here.
It's true that when we will have more genres it doesn't really match with the new domain but who cares?

Nopes i don't have info atm at all... ive just returned from my hollidays in Italy so didn't heard anything about this subject.
Anyway, maybe you could make some examples to start with and see what people think of it.
Changing the size and positions isn't a big thing to do right?

Dont want to put in this logo any artists... cuz as we know, each of us have other likes and dislikes... so I tryed to focus only on items which are neutral for all of us :)

No prob, we can do it, as I said I only experimenting and have got everything in editable photoshopfile:]
