i can't say that one track is my all-time favorite. i have a lot of favorite tracks. some are first edm tracks i ever listened to like "u96 - das boot" or "sunbeam - outside world". other tracks i love since years, for example "svenson & gielen - twisted" and "answer the question". this year i also like a lot of tunes...thinking about "kuffdam&plant - dream makers", "kyau vs. albert - walk down", "the drill - the drill" etc.

Wow. so many tunes from this day to that....

I think there are so many great artists at the moment really pushing the boundaries (all those 'trance will never last' sceptics can eat my ass), so there's so much awesome stuff of late I will consult the neural library as I write this...

As a Dj you have favorites that you love to play for their impact and what you feel is an extension of your emotional attachment to certain tunes and likewise as a clubber there are soundtracks to those one in a million moments that never leave you aswell. I think the obvious classics have lots of merit because they have touched so many people for all the right reasons and you should never think that they are too dated or 'over played' as these make up our heritage. Tiesto and Ferry Corsten are my favorite producers of all time for the memories you know. Out of the Blue was a life altering tune of that era and a track I still play now as was Carte Blanche, Silence, Diving Faces, Superstring... these are the seeds of mine and I bet a few of yours passion.
The classic stuff is always there anyway with so many new producers picking them up and giving them a spit and polish, a tip of the hat, or a dream obtained. I know I play at least a few remixes in each set I play, hell yeah!. Don't you just love those remixes of old favorites that you hear in a club or on the radio for the first time that you cant quite put your finger on until you hear a little bit of chord or synth, and then your brain says whoooooa I know this... and Its amazing!!!!.

Sorry for rambling on a bit but I love music and I cant just say I love this track without explaining why hey...

Both the current Riley and Durand mix and the Original of Tiesto's Lethal Industry are defo in my mind right now, one of the biggest hooks ever!!!!! and that new drum sample in R+D mix is sick... Rarely seen a crowd react so much to this, Brixton Academy for ISOS 5 tour when he dropped it was unreal.

Other favorites, some of which I picked up on from previous posts which I had lost along the way are... Oceanlab 'Satellite', Jase from outer space 'Do what ya want' and Nikola Gala 'Swing to Harmony' (I found markus!), Above and Beyond mix of Delerium's Silence @ Creamfields 2004 (ooh my god!), Motocycle 'As the rush comes' (Armins Universal Religion RMX) (a me and my friends fav), Shades of Rythem 'Listen to the Rythem' and 'Ecstasy' (E-Ecstasy!!!), Sasha 'Expander' (What a baseline!)... tbc

I'm happily dreaming of good times and wicked tunes now... Awesome post and I'll keep adding em as I think of them today - Like most say, Its its really hard to say 'Thats my absolute fav!!!'...

Trance is ever-progressing. It is exemplified through the beat that never ends. One track morphs into the next. With that in mind, my favorite tracks change usually every few months just like the way trance progresses over time. Right now, i really enjoy the Jarrell Louder remix and the Cara_Dillion_v_2_Divine_Black_Is_The_Colour (Coco_Remix). But, i have loved so many other tracks i have loved since 1998 when i started listening.

Last year it was definitly Tracking treasure down and Air for Life. Its not that those songs aren't good anymore, its just that i have heard them so many times, i like hearing something newer where i don't know every single break, beat, vocal, ect of the song.
