the problem of "stolen" links

HI FOLKS! I HAVE A SHORT & SIMPLY QUESTION: WHAT DO YOU THING SHOULD THIS FORUM BE? ONLY A PLACE WHERE WE UPLOAD (AND DOWNLOAD)OUR OWN TRANCE TUNES OR A KIND OF TRANCE SPOT WHERE WE ALL ALSO CAN GIVE LINKS THAT EVERYBODY OF US COULD FIND IN THE WEB (SO CALLED "STOLEN" LINKS, YOU KNOW...)

WOULD BE VERY INTERESTING WHAT YOU (AND IN SPEZIAL OUR MODS) ARE THINKING ABOUT THIS ISSUE???

don't say stolen, say "found". ;) today it is usual that links are posted in several boards. if you found a link you can write "found" in the topic. i don't care where links from, i only want good music.

IMHO, the music is already stolen so... If you want to share here something found on another website just write it. I have in mind lots of DLs with for exemple dakolbass or lectro.ru as password, I don't care, since it's music and we are happy to find it here since we don't want to browse every russian trance forum or thing like that...

I think what made TG angry of you stealing, was that he shared it in the same forum. It is kinda lame to copy someone elses post and then post it again in the same forum ;)

But mistakes can be made and i forgive u :music:

Yes you´are right and I feel sorry about this! But as I already told, I havn`t realized that tg posted his links here at the bord, too. If I had known this, I hadn´t created a new topic with this stuff... but done is done, and the only thing I can do, is to say sorry for my unprofessional behaviour...

I accept "stolen" links but prefer to use my own links.

Specially when a link is on some personal server with a limited bandwith it's not cool to use that link.
As most of the free server's have a "unlimited" bandwith i wouldn't mind much anymore about "stealing" links.

Still i think it's a good idea to add our domain name in the used links/file names so link stealers will be uncovered and ofcourse it's a good ad for this forum.

hey tribalism is there any way we can make the links only accessable by forum members, instead of anyone and everyone who happens to get a link? i don't see why everyone in the world should be reaping the benefits of our sometimes hard work..

Yes, that`s right! But I think, not many users have such a big collection of tunes and trance files like u which they can share here. And because of this, they (and me too) are "forced" to share some links from the web to make our contributions for the grow of this forum...

Still i think it's a good idea to add our domain name in the used links/file names so link stealers will be uncovered and ofcourse it's a good ad for this forum.

yeah, this is a point which is worth to thing about it...
