I'm using firefox too. All spyware and other bad stuff is usually made for IE. On firefox I don't have problems with spyware, bugs etc.

I tried it once because i was sick of the errors IE was giving me. i liked how you could customize the look and features of a lot of it, but it just loaded pages way too slowly for me....

Always FF, unless I'm using a very slow pc, then I usually use IE. But for faster pc's (which are a must have for me anyway) I always use FF. Easy, useful, and no spyware since the program doesn't allow new software to be installed automatically like IE.

Yeah the tabs were probably the reason I switched. And Its been a mixed blessing. Now I have too many tabs open sometimes but when you went to look at 2 different things its very useful.

Firefox = win for me :)
Even though it requires a more powerful machine than IE, it's just much safer, faster and easier to handle. And not to forget all the cool features you can enhance your Firefox browser with, which gives it another win over IE-> BETTER LOOKING! :yeah:

Yeah. Google is the default search engine. Once in a while I may want to do a search from wikipedia, youtube, froogle etc. If you click on the google icon in your search bar you can add them any many more.

I did use Opera for a long time and always fought it's corner against Firefox & IE in the battle of the browsers. But it gave me lots of problems with logging into sites and especially secure sites for instance for card payment...

So i "defected" to Firefox. It IS better, and I love the extensions / plugins, but the only problem I have is it randomly deleting my bookmarks & history every so often...

I do use FF, but for some reason i think it doesnt run smoothly. Sometimes it uses up to 300mb Ram, and then i dont even load any pages or stuff like that. Then when i try to close it i either have to wait 15 min before it closes, or i have to wait 5 mins for task manager to pop up.

Well said. I seem to be one of the very few people left still using IE. I skipped the entire FireFox hype because honestly, i didn't see the need to change browser. I did try FireFox for a while but all the stuff people said about it being faster and safer and easier just didn't come true for me.
IE still does it's job, is fast (in no way slower than FF, sorry) and i don't get bummed with virusses and popup spam so it's fine for me ;)

Firefox is great. Microsoft is jumping on the tabbed web browser bandwagon with the newest releases of IE but it will never match up. My only complaint with FF though is that it absolutely HATES pages with embeded Flash modules. e.g. some profile's on myspace cause it to crash and die and yeah... that sucks.
