Ferry Corsten Insures his ears.
Amsteram - DJ Ferry Corsten insured his ears. That's what he tolld in an interview with De Telegraaf (a Dutch newspaper.) "Without ears i can't do nothing," says Corsten.
It's not always fun to have "valuable ears" says Corsten. "I use ear protection, those irritating hard things." The 32 years old DJ takes the inconvenience for what it is.
"There's a story about a foreign DJ who turned on the volume this hard that his eardrum broke. That's something i hope not to experience."
A good hearing is essential for the ambition of Corsten to succeed as producer. "That's what i always wanted", says Corsten. "The DJ thing came out of the blue and also seems to be succesfull." The ambition to be producer of a big band never dissapeard. "I do see myself going to the POP genre. Groups as Coldplay or Depeche Mode, that's which i can do something with."
