I'm thinking of picking up some CD turntables. I am not totally against spending alot of money, but I want a setup at a reasonable price. Maybe if you have suggestions for a hooked up setup, a medium range, and a budget one. Any advice on what to get and look for would be great. I'm not very familiar with the whole CD turn thing.

stanton has some great cdj's and mixers that aren't too expensive at all and very good quality, of course if you had the full money cdj1000mk3 and djm800 is where to be... by any chance are you DJ Eric Vex?

I would go with the pioneers for CDJ's..either the 200/800/1000 they are tried and true and you will find them in most clubs. Mixer is a personal prefrence. Do you want more than 2 channels? effects? looping/sampler? There are so many choices for great mixers. The DJM400 has a good amount of features and is a quality unit. My friend has one and its really fun to use.

pioneer cdj 200 and a djm 600 mixer probably
if you go for turntables, be sure to check out the next generation turntables OEM
they are stronger than the technics engines, and work perfect

if you need info about prices and specs.i suggest pioneer 1000s and a djm 400 mixer! good performance and price!
Hi there,
I would suggest to save up and get a 2x cdj1000mk2 and djm800 mixer. I would try ebay you can get it a reasonable price definetly. THis will also last you very long. Believe me this is what i did but only thing i have a djm600. I do not have any regrets and also if i get a gig i'm not stressed cause it's industry standard and most clubs use this.
