The 200 is a very good player

Definately the best one for around the price bracket.
The pitch resolution is equal to the cdj 1000 and it also plays
MP3 discs.

Sorry don't know much about the denons!

I had american audio's but sold them and stopped mixing music......I have regretted that ever since the day I sold them...LOL....They were great for beginners and could play Mp3'sas well.....I am looking to get some mid range priced pioneers they are a little more expensive but I figured I could grow into them as I get better at Dj'ing.......

i have a pair and i absolutely love them..
anyone who asks me about cd players i tell them two things...either 200's or 1000's especially if you spin trance and house
they both have the same pitch res which is 0.02 and its unique to these cd players only,...
if u have the money to spend on 1000's then get those, but 200's are no less than those exept for a few effects and the vinyl mode

i've heard that the mp3 support on the 200s is abit off compared to using CDDA discs.

Anyone can confirm?

I have cdj 200's. Obviously they're going to be a little less fluid because of the price, you pay for what you get. This comes through especially in the pitch fader, but with a little more patience it's still fairly easy to get the pitch that you want. On the mp3 side, the 200's only have a problem with VBR encoded mp3's. It doesn't show track (name/time) information and you may not be able to search the track. I also have a cdj 1000mk2 so I don't burn mp3 cd's anyways.

cdj 200's are fantastic! best DJ purchase i ever made, i was mixing on a dodgy dual cd player and i thought i was ok... but i tell you what, the 0.02% pitch increments make mixing so much more accurate! you don't have to keep listening for the tracks to drift apart during long transitions and make adjustments accordingly,. you can focus more on the mix itself

highly recommended!

i learned that nothing good comes cheap... so ata_n, i would say go with a good brand like pioneer or at least denon. if u'll take cdj800 it's not too expensive but it will be easier to resell it afterwords if u wish to sell it. i've got mk3... i love man. I always go for pioneers :).

i think that the cdj-s 100 is better than the 200.:-)

Most clubs have pioneers so if your serious about djin (even if your just startin) you may start on something you'll be familiar with from then on
