Ableton Live timing issue

jus wondering if anyone can help really.

new way of mixing (using ableton rather than decks) brings new problems.

im trying to make my 3rd mix and going for more production.

I have a track which is just wind ambience and a softly spoken indian voice I want to use in the next controlled confusion mix but the problem I have is ableton speeds it up into infinity!

starts normal then slowly gains speed as it goes. . . . Ive tried using the technique used here http://www.drum-aberdeen.co.uk/Ableton/How_To_Warp_a_Track.html but it dont work on this track (works on other tracks with beats though i might add)

does anyone know how I can import the track without ableton trying to beat match it?

is there a fix?

ableton should automatically beat match your songs since it has this autowrap funtion also did u change global bpm this problem never occure to me b4:beer:and if u want to stop it auto beat matching then stop autowrap

ableton beatmatches for you

but you have to correctly warp the track first.. abc has made a post on how to mix with ableton that is on the dj producer thread, it has info on how to warp tracks.. check it out

turning off "Auto Warp Long Samples" under options fixed it for me, just delete track turn the the option off, import it again, save, turn option back on, and its OK now.
