For everyone who works with FL, upload your packs! Packs with hats, kicks, snares, basses..simply everything. I am a beginner with FL and this is a good opportunity to share some stuff. I have a couple of things and I will upload those.

Ok have started uploading sample packs, they are pretty common one though. Anyway... here they are, I will upload more into this folder too, at a later date. Don't complain that they are on Rapidshare too, I'm a premium account holder, it's cheap, fast and reliable, once you subscribe.

JOHNNYB_S_ABSYNTH_4_MEGA_FIX is one huge archive containing the whole samples pack of Absynth 4 + many other presets. Here's the .nfo file of the archive:

OK, Extract the "Absynth 4 Missing Samples.rar" to:
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Absynth 4\Samples\
So:
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Absynth 4\Samples\1 - Multisamples
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Absynth 4\Samples\2 - Acoustic Instruments
etc. etc.
Go into Absynth 4 and set the samples folder to "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Absynth 4\Samples\"
it automatically scans sub folders to find the right files.

Clear out (delete all the files in) your folder:
"C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\My Documents\Native Instruments\Shared Content\Sounds\Absynth 4"
Those presets are in the wrong place - displaying as User Presets rather than factory presets.
Instead, Extract "All Absynrh Presets Then Some.rar" to:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Shared Content\Sounds
So:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Shared Content\Sounds\Absynth 3
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Shared Content\Sounds\Absynth 4

THESE ARE ALL THE PRESETS FROM ABSYNTH 2, ABSYNTH 3 & (ABSYNTH 4, in the places they should be).

Regarding your question how to implement this in cubase and ableton: Sorry, I can't help you, cause I don't use them, but FruityLoops. It should be similar though. After you install it /Absynth/ , you should activate it through the menu of the sequencer and attach it to a channel and play.
