owh, right now i am working for a 12 hours rotating shift, 6am to 6pm for 14 days straight. today is the 9th day offshore, and the cabin was our room inside the living quarters. i mean, our platform/rig quarters...

i dont know how's our system here but right now im using dial up from my room...
damn slow connection, about 26.4kbps....but still ok to reply your post. not good in uploading. i used the office pc downstairs to upload tracks, using the company's average fast internet connection:)

i dont think there is really telephone lines here. all via satellite communication, maybe? i have no idea...
there are IT department guy who comes onboard once in a while to fix our communication system.
not forgetting, we also have wifi here downstairs in the control building. the best part of this platform! it's not like other location:icon_mrgreen:
