Hi guys. I recently bought a new 6-chanel Creative Augidy sound card (not the best one but atleast something that works) instead of the old built-in AC97, but I have a problem now with the playback using winamp. The problem is that it klicks and breaks...like when the ANTISHOK system on your cd player is off. That deforms the tune hell of alot while playin, don't know what is wrong and what that all means... it pisses me off:sad2: but when I play my music with Windows Media Player, it's ok, no klicking I hear everything goes smoothly, the problem is gone. What should I do?? I don't think the problem is with the sound card itself... I want to use my winamp 'cos I like it alot especially 4 of it's shoutcast radio feature. HELP PLEASE!!:crybaby2: :crybaby2:

hrmm, other than not having proper drivers, i have no idea what this could be.. i guess your best bet is to email the sound card company and explain your problem
have you tried using any other players??
do you get the same problem with windows media player/real1player/foobar??

Well, as I said Windows Media works fine! But I don't really like it... Mayby I'm missing some codeks?:( I currently use Window Media Player.

i would have said that but i don't see how installing a new sound card would slow anything down

there are settings for the buffer size that will cause this problem
