0-29 posts: Junior member
30-249: Member
250-499: Senior member
500-999: Supreme member
1000+: VIP member
to inform you of this situation like this.

I sort of like the names we got now but it all has to reflect on this site...
I have seen on other trance forums who have like tranceaddict instead of senior member and tranceaddicted instead of supreme member etc... but the current names are fine but include like 2000 post aswell because some are almost reaching that.

i like what we already have here coz when we put some ranking then there will be some Bigheads that simply hides an average tunes with insane post requirements:icon_mrgreen:

great idea! i like it....as for the title i was thinking about previously...well it was taken from a forum where i used to be b4 this:icon_mrgreen:
normally we can start editing our titles when we reached 1000 posts...coz TF is still a lil bit new (imo)
when there's already a lot of members have more than 1000 posts then we can review back the posts and also the title.


another thought on a fresh monday morning:

0-10 posts = TF Spy (leechers & members dont know how to give thanks). posting links can be started after making 10 posts

10 - 30 = TF Noobs / Apparentice / Trainee (still in the orientation period, know the rules 1st b4 posting to avoid warnings)

30 - 50 = Regular Member.

50 - 100 = Ordinary Senior Member.

100 - 500 = Supreme Member.

500 - 1000 = VIP Veteran

2000-2999 = TF Master / Guru

3000+ = TF Lord

5000+ = TF GOD:wors:

---> plus, a star added to the titles from 1 to 5 stars, depending on the ranks

i dunno about this forum, but in my experience with vBuletin based, yes it can be implemented.
now depending on the admin wether they want to activate the function or not

Speedfam is right...I ran a board a while back and there is a hack that will allow you to have user implemented titles...it has been a while since I used it, but I am sure I could find it for you guys if you need it.

She means the names are staying the same eg. like. Senior member, Supreme member & VIP member but the post counts are changing eg. 500 to 1000 was VIP member but 1000+ is now VIP member.

I have seen that but i have also seen some members that Had 'VIP member' and now have gone back to 'supreme member', so im not sure exactly. I presume thats the case with it. :blink1:

also notice your post count, you have 518 which was VIP member but you still haved supreme member listed..

Think its a positive idea to give people a carrot so they post a little more and contribute, can't see the harm in offering a small bonus like that.

My mistake actually, i thought your ''Moderator'' was your only custom title, but then i realised you infact get two! As i initially thought you wouldn't wanna take away your mod title. But yeh i hope something like this can be done for other members, would be pretty cool to have an additional wee feature to mess with.

Well you could have like a certain amount of posts enables you this feature and would perhaps encourage more posting in order to access this feature.
