I like Ten Seconds Before Sunrise , Everything , Sweet Things , Dance4life and Elements Of Life (great instrumental song)

I gived 4 stars...if there was more great instumental songs (beside Elemts Of Life and Ten Seconds Before Sunrise) i would rated him 5 stars....
Not dissapointed at all by Tiesto

see how ppl pick their favorite songs from this album, everyone has its different favorite. Mine is "In The Dark" and i like much "Sweet Things" but all round album was awsome, looking forward to some mixes of these songs from album.

and ye i dont think that this record could be comparised to lethal industry, love comes again and so on but it has something which makes this album stands from all other i heard

but mby i am wrong and this album sux and i know northing about trance music but it cant change my opinion.

In general this albums ok, the colabs are interesting. Im liking the track with Jes called "Everything", great vocal!
Its not as good as his other albums but thats due to the electro influences I think. Still a high standard but they dont make my hair stand on end like his former tracks. Bit of a letdown.

But I've been listening al last week and it kind of grows on me :D

Maybe he'll convinde me when I go to see the EOL show in Hasselt

I'm hoping that there'll be some nice remixes and edits in the Future that will blow my mind away:smile1:

Futhermore, why do people say that EOL isn't to be compared with albums like Just Be and Parade of the Athletes? Have those people never heard the album In My Memory? That is a classic album and a great artist album. Just Be and Parade of the Athletes also suck big time so EOL, Just Be and PotA should never be compared with In My Memory. They are simply not worth it, imo.

for you part about unfinished tracks. i think its ok that he left him like he did. it makes for great remixes, and great remixes put the song at the top of thier game.:)

There are three tracks that I really can listen to without fast-forwarding it. The one with BT is cheesy and corny with the synthed out vocal, worst to me. But, the rest of the album is average at best.

I got to give Tiësto some credit for this album...Elements of Life is gr8...perhaps to much vocal but other than that it's gr8...especially Elements of Life, Carpe Noctum, Ten Seconds Before Sunrise, Bright Morningstar & Sweet Things...I give him 4,5/5 :bg: ...would give him 5/5 if it wasn't because the album had too many vocal tracks...btw I think the track Elements of Life can become a classic...but that's only my opinion so :P...

09. In The Dark (Ft Christian Burns) ---- average, funny rhytm in vocals : 6
10. Dance4life (Ft Maxi Jazz) ---- average but good for clubbing, but lyrics are ridiculous! sth new for tiesto : 6+
11. Elements Of Life ---- instrumental, closing track, good enough : 7
12. He's A Pirate (Tiesto Remix) ---- there is sth epic, ethnic in that tune, amuzing! : 7-

I think this album is his worst ever. This is just a way to get some money, not to let the world see how good you are or just what you can do.

The pirat tune was his first mistake, not only should he not mess with one of the coolest soundtracks of this time
His elements of life track sounds like a organ gone bad
The Dance4Life track is nice for charity but its not something he needs to put on his album
Carpe Noctum feels like he's gona back into the 90's

the tunes i did like:
ten seconds before sunrise: though its just a mediocer tune, not special at all
everything: kinda ok, you hear the old tiesto influences from before and the vocal is nice
Do you feel me: also kinda ok, but again not special at all
Driving to heaven: is like "everything" just touching the border of nice track
Sweet things: same story
Bright morning star and break my fall are the two tracks i really do like, thats more the way i wished the whole album could be
I also like In the dark, eventhough its really commercial



overall, his old albums gave me goosebumps, this new one is barely good enough to make it into me winamp list.

1/5 .... For me Tiesto has gone hard (esp in his sets) and produces many tracks that sound similar... I used to buy his albums... listen to his sets... now no more... I like his "In Search Of Sunrise" series... because they usually have nothing to do with his "Own" tracks... other people's!

I just hope that Tiesto doesn't turn into another Paul Oakenfold who is producing crap and charging extautionate amounts for gigs.

I'll stick to Schulzy and Remy/Klinkenberg etc for productions...
