Quite old for me, but already a classic in my mind!!!

03. Solarstone - Late Summer Fields (Deeper Sunrise Mix)

Fairly new for me, good song but not my favorite mix. Works for the album though. Solarstone mix blows it away!

04. Wippenberg - Promisedland (Nic Chagall Remix)

blah....not a fan, and dub mix would have been better.

05. Summer Sessions ft. Tiff Lacey - By My Side (Signalrunners Fierce Mix)

Good track, but not my favorite mix of it.

06. Mind One - Hurt Of Intention

Ok song, again not my fave mix.

07. Marc Marberg with Kyau & Albert - Megashira (Original Mix)

Dont like this song, its so beautiful at times but its ruined by annoying repetitive sound. Needs a remix.

08. Ferry Corsten - Beautiful (Original)

Great song but so old now. Might have chosen cosmic gate mix.

09. Rafaël Frost - Worlds

New to me, nothing special.

Why not Aly and Fila mix...oh well, still not a bad track...

11. System F - Insolation (Ferry Corsten Flashover Remix)

Decent track, I like it, but doesnt blow me away.

New to me, and its crap!

13. JPL - Mirakel (Supüer Mix)

Not the best mix of not a great song.

14. Breakfast - The Sunlight (Original Mix)

Great track, but kind of old and overplayed already.

15. Lemon & Einar K - Hope (Original Mix)

Great track, but also a bit old now.


Overall I didnt feel the flow of the album. I felt the mixing wasnt anything special either. I guess its a mixed bag, collection of some good tracks mixed within bad remixes of other good tracks mixed in with some just plain bad tracks. Probably not a purchase for me, but its borderline. Overall its not bad, its just not great. I liked Passport to Netherlands alot more.

I must say honestly.. I like ferry corsten and i like his choice of music. I heard probably all of thoose songs by either downloading them or at the club. i must say to me Ferry is definitly One of the best Dj's out there. im satisfied with his music.

Very ok tune selection. The only one that gets me excited really is the Breakfast tune. Its being overplayed but its a ch00n.

Blah. I could have done this myself, easily. I don't like this album. A dissapointment after Passport - Kingdom of the NL. It's his new style and it sucks badly. The cross-over between this new sound and the good ol' System F sound he had on the last Passport and ROW was great, but this sucks IMO, doesn't have anything to do with trance anymore, nor with good music.

The TL looks great and it's hard to go wrong with Ferry. I have to say he rarely disappoints me, but maybe that's just because we have similar taste in trance :)

...I definitely prefer Ferry's previous albums and productions...I find this one OK, and was really waiting for it, but I kinda feel that it didn't meet up with my expectations...there are certain songs from this album I really like, but all in all I expected more...

well this album obviously sounds like the first passport but maybe lacks something... I think Ferry should have evolved the sound of his mix cd's as he did with his artist albums recently. Maybe include some more tech/electro influenced track to give it an edgier feel.

What can u say bad about Ferry. He has always come out with great new releases, and always produces at shows. I saw him recently in Toronto, and his set blew me the fuck away. Heres a quick playlist: Fire, Galaxia, Beautiful, Sunhump, Feel Free (2007 remake), Life Less Ordinary (Frost), GOURYELLA!!!!, L.E.F, Needs to Feel (Whippenburg), Junk, Madagascar, The Sunlight......................I'll say no more, for i can feel already the readers are cringing.......For the longest time i have held him in high regards, and i dont see any reason why that will change for me any time soon. :beer:
