Italian dance maestro Giuseppe Ottaviani is regarded as one of the most influential artists working in the trance realm today. His distinctive, definitive sound and energetic,captivating live sets are celebrated around the world. For over 10 years nowhe's been part of Paul van Dyk's VANDIT Family, and after the label released his highly successful debut artist album 'GO!' in 2009 his fans have been shouting out for more.

To answer their call, in February Giuseppe launched his new radio show GO ON AIR - a monthly format dedicated to the music he loves. In six short months it has become required listening for thousands upon thousands of trance music devotees around the planet.

This summer Giuseppe is advancing the concept further by presenting ‘GO ON AIR’ - the mix comp, a 20-track strong album spin-off from the radio show. A journey through numerous facets of electronic dance music, it features brand new tracks, exclusive GO edits and first-class dance floor munitions - blended togetherwith Ottaviani’s customary mix flair.

It’s broad sound-design features the latest high-impact audio from heavy-hitters like Armin van Buuren, M.I.K.E., Aly & Fila and Mike Koglin. Tracks, collabs and remixes from fast-risers like Who.Is., Tom Colontonio, Genix, Tenishia, Paul Miller and Ben Nicky and hot newcomer tips including Beat Service and Aerospace .

Naturally Giuseppe himself is well represented on the compilation himself with remixes of recent floor-flamers from Paul Webster, Chris Schweizer and Eddie Bitar. Also featuring (as exclusives on the album) is his latest solo club roadblock-er ‘Go On Air’ and ‘Just For You’ – Giuseppe’s virtuoso collaboration with Linnea Schössow.

Giuseppe Ottaviani Abridged Biog

What started with piano lessons at the age of 4, music school at early childhood and studies of classical music as a teen mushroomed into an international career in electronic dance music today. After 6 years of dance floor takeover with his project NU NRG, Giuseppe made the transition to being a solo artist in 2005. From 'Linking People', 'Through Your Eyes' and 'No More Alone' to collabs with Paul van Dyk and remixes for the likes of Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz, GO's sound established into a global phenomenon and his highly energetic live performances into a 'must-experience' for every dance music lover.
