Cool let me know what you think. You know back in the 90's some people used to call this track breaks and some of them used to call trance. Matt darey he was my first hero don't like the stuff he makes these days. Its really sad I think trance has suffered the most when it comes to digital downloads but I hear a number of old house labels are collapsing as well.

i've moved away from it too only recently though...i was clinging on hoping for a change, thinking it was a phase that would soon pass...i lost patience with armin/armada...they are to blame for what's wrong with the scene now...they're promoting tracks as trance when it's not even close...i still can't hate armin even though what he's doing to the scene...you're right, he needs to make like tiesto and make up his mind or at least change the name of his fuckin show...he can play whatever he wants i don't care, but don't promote that shit as trance when it's not...see the vid below...success/greed gets to these guys' heads http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVjBZzN_Fzk

I've moved away from the asot trance scene to be honest. These days its nothing but ambient and psy trance. Not a fan of DJ Eco's stuff but he's a nice guy. Brostep is bad that's for sure but sasha seems to praise him to breaking into the US scene. I am not too sure what the future of trance would be like to be honest its up to faith to decide that but things are not looking great. Well if Armin keeps on making cheese like he is I don't the recovery will ever come. Kudos to tiesto even though he plays the worst piece of shit in the world at least he admitted and said that he wanted to move away from it. Armin should do the same as well. I think Armin joining forces with Benno was a horrible idea both of them need to get their ears checked that's for sure.

i would be happy making what i'm currently making if i did what i loved...yeah the crowds really don't know but i feel like there is a crowd, it may be small...again i gotta to my boy and dj eco to see if we can start some sort of movement and get people to come on board...i actually like uplifting myself but you're right there aren't too many quality tracks these days...and the fucking brostep breaks in trance tracks is making me not even want to listen...i have nothing against brostep except i think it sucks but it has no place in ANY trance tracks...it's like trying to mix a + charge with a - charge...it won't work...i hope the guys from enhanced look at our comments and hope they don't sell many of these albums and come to realize that this trend needs to die...get back to basics...make proper trance tracks even uplifting i would not mind...

Thing is mate even those people who don't like the big room stuff they were brought up by stuff like going wrong and in out of love is trance or they tag it as pop trance when both of them have nothing to do with the genre at all. Some people like 95% of the people on this forum think trance = Uplifting now I have nothing against uplifting trance but there is no quality in this style anymore. People are so badly educated what trance is what it isn't its not funny anymore. Well since you are in america it all depends what style they are looking for. See for me it was always a variety of styles which made the scene healthy and haha glad you liked that mashup haha poor girl indeed she even commented on one of the hot problems video which is even worse. Armin wants the fame and fortune of tiesto there is no doubt about thing is he earns 15 million euros a year and he still wants more of it that's just greedy if you ask me

btw, that armin track is a joke...little by little he's doing the tiesto move...this is evident with "his productions" over the years...and tbh, i actually like that rebecca black track cuz it makes me LOL every time i hear it and watch the vid...poor girl got death threats over that track...sad...

i know that the crowd likes that dumb big room sound...they be like "omg this big room sound omg it sounds so big room-ish...fucking dope man"...whlle everyone is doing this big room crap, i wanna do the exact opposite...there exists a crowd out there that likes real trance not this garbage...and i wanna cater to those people...the problem is i don't know how many people are in demand for this, until i do a market research/survey...and about that trance is dead thread, noobs who don't know what real trance is will keep asking that question....it will never stop so might as well get used to it and learn to ignore it...i'm not commenting on these trance is dead threads anymore and if i do, it will be something sarcastic....
