Addicting sounds. Played 3 times in a row. Satisfying on every level.

TranceFix Radio #018 - Merging Scenes - Mixed by Sunda

Good mix dudes. IDs were nice, the second one especially.

    Mikkel Rev - UTE013 [Ute]

Just what you expect from this label, dark and unassuming. I’ll take any of them, can’t get enough of their sound.

    Naden - Bergtatt [EDM Recordings]

The only melodic prog artist I can still get into

    Shjva - WAR1209 (Album) [Warning]

TranceFix Radio #017 - Through the Void - Mixed by A992

Love these underground mixes. Usually come away with 5 to 10 tracks, but considering this one's length and looking at the tracklist it might be even more. Great to see Coredata mixed in with the nu-trance guys. I also see a few tracks from Mikkel Rev and Rambal Cochet in there that I really...

Breeder - Twilo, Tyrantanic, Twilo Thunder Remixes (EP) [HOOJ Tunes]

Look they are not bad tracks. If you never heard of Breeder you might think this is some decent original prog. But cmon... A big part of reason Twilo and Tyrantanic are iconic monsters is because the sound is RAW AS FUCK. Breeder was one of the grittiest and thundering producers to grace prog...

Eelke Kleijn-Lately (Extended Mix) [DAYS like NIGHTS]

Both alright. Growers likely, but have high expectations for this prog pro.

Fader Cap - Blue Pool (EP) [Butter Sessions]

They all sound nice but Blue Pool is much better.

Nuera - It’s Fine EP [Nuera Music]

9/10 times I criticize this for being too lifeless and boring. Must be in a good mood because I found these to be chill and relaxing. It's Fine is my favorite but the vocals and barebones approach of Hayaki has got me drifting. I must be going soft.

Beltrac & Urban Guidance - Nature [Neptune Discs]

Vision Recall... that's almost a steroid kick. But the shakey hats are so nice it keeps it under control. Dream Cycle has some of those noises that Guy Contact uses frequently in his tracks. In fact each track seems to remind me of someone elses tunes. Whatever, it all sounds good.

    Coredata - Membrane [Borderline R&D]

Love it. I could have had a 2 minute breakdown with what he has done here. Felt like the track was just about to get going.

Younger Than Me - The Golden Age of Love [90's Wax]

Raver's Heart is a Mess is really giving me that oldskool feeling. Must be the synth.

    Serious / Sophisticated Psy-trance

This guy is the psy-trance greatest of all time MWNN - Visit The Moon (2003)

Rambal Cochet – Seeds of Unconsciousness [Junction Forest]

Hertza Haeon got those deep goa vibes, love the sounds.

Jaron Inc. - Inspire EP [Research and Development]

Activa's remix of Inspire was great on Movement, the original decent but prefer the energy activa injected into it. Light In Your Eyes has early Jaytech nods but doesnt do much to me.

Is electronic more (or less) creative now than in the past?

The answer for me seems obvious and thats today's music is much less creative. No famous electronic DJs are making out the box or even original music. We may have more genres but they all sound like they are made in a genre factory. It feels like the goal is to produce a track for the sake of...

TranceFix Radio #016 - TF Best of 2023 Mix II - Mixed by A992

Very excited for this. I don't recognize 70% of the music so should be a good one.
