I will vote for no one. This one and the TranceAddict poll are ridiculous. Those who have the most fanboys will win. What really irritates me is that the DJs that get the 1st place get called "THE BEST". Also seeing producers on the list makes me either lol or hurt myself.This is a popularity contest, nothing more.
I too think that Guetta will get the 1st place this time. It will be interesting to see if Armin can get the fourth in a row though. I expect to see Deadmau5 outside of top 5, and PvD in.
Aly and Fila and Cosmic Gate surely deserve my vote and I might aswell vote for Armin. I dont want to see Guetta on the lead

While I agree, the voting still has its meaning as it pretty much determines how many calls a DJ gets and therefore their schedule. It may be a popularity contest, but for DJs it matters a lot. There is no other ranking system thats more popular than this one.Originally Posted by Vernon.303

Even if we dont accept that lists dont show real results, after DJMAG's results if Armin was no : 1 , people call him No : 1 DJ On world, so...
Who does play tracks that nearest from we listen ? It is Armin. Not Tiesto or Guetta. If they will take the 1 place, it wont be good for Trance you can be sure. Personally yeah I know he doenst play real trance all time but we should accept it he plays something we like.
Why would anyone vote for Armin because they dislike Guetta? Makes this contest even more silly

So, in essence we should vote for him because he is a "trance" DJ? I don't see how it would benefit trance. Trance hasn't moved an inch where I'm from and hardly any people I know have heard of the DJ Mag poll.

im not gonna vote at all since i dont love trance as much as i use too due to a lack of creativity and quality within the industry and no dj's have really been blowing me away with quality music or sets so im very much mehhhhh.
