    Synthesizing kick drums

Hi, I'm busy with designing a kick drum sound and its going average atm. how do you modulate ur synth so the waveform gets lower in frequency?

not sure what you mean there but lowering the frequency? as in using a filter?
That was INTENSE! Well, not really intense. But pretty intense.

Afaik it has something to do with LFO, but anyways, take a look at the dutch synthforum. I bet there are enough topics about creating kicks over there. This one for example...

lowering the frequency of the base sine, not the filtering.
so that the tail of the kick gets lower and lower. some way to change the volume envelope along with that would b great to
    LFO,
.. assigned to what? an lfo generally goes up and down and to what should you assign it so that it lowers the sine frq. in ie z3ta+ ?

yeah i'll have a look at GS and SF indeed.

Assigned to the pitch ofc.... Let it go down (triangle shape?) and let it start again (retrigger) at the peak when you push the note again.
