So you want every track to be looked at by a moderator to judge if it's (quality) trance or not?
Imho a single person can't make any decision for a group when it's about taste.

Its not only the question if something is trance or not (which will give stupid arguments on the forum), but also, if you want to see tracks by a certain artist still in the trance section eventhough you might come to the conclusion that a certain track is more non-trance than trance.

As I think the non-trance 'upcoming' tracks would be filled with all sorts of music (and crap?) I would not spent much time there. So all trance related stuff (and don't deny Ferry Corsten being trance-related) should be in the trance upcoming section.

But the best solution is simply one section.

If someone wants to discuss a housetrack, or an Adele single, on trancefix, that should be fine.

Yes but not in the Upcoming Release section on TRANCEfix. It's starting to get very tiring to be looking through new releases and find only 1 in 3 tracks to actually be trance.

I agree, this is TranceFix and trance music should be shared on the (U)R section.. it's very annoying when house/tech house/minimal, even downtempo labels register here just to promote their stuff, I've already given points for spamming many times before and if nothing is done, that will continue for sure since we're a big community with lots of visitors every day

This is a trance forum therefore this section is meant for sharing information about trance releases. Even though we allow some other EDM threads every now end then, constant promotion of non-trance music by a particular member will be considered spamming and will result in warning points.

Trance atm is influenced with other EDM genres, but that's the present situation, music evolves, and I beleive it won't forever be popular to mix trance with other genres, leave everything as it is, focus only on the releases you like and wait for trance to become "clean" again.

Come on guys lets be honest with ourselves. We all know whats trance and whats not. No matter what #trancefamily thinks. We are talking about trancefix.nl herd. Around The World is def not trance, so is Check It Out, no matter who made them.
