It's list time again. I'm sure you know the drill, drop your Top 10, 25,.. of any genres you feel like within EDM.
1.Paul Woolford & Psycatron - Stolen
Label: Hotflush Recordings
Release date: 2011-10-24
It’s so big it sounds like it exists on its own planet, with rampaging broken drums, acid basslines and some incredible moments of intergalactic ambience all having their moment across its nine minute course.
2.Bushwacka! - West Side
Release date: June 28th, 2011
‘Westside’ - this monster is very personal to Bushwacka! Inspired from the sound of the biggest German techno DJ on the planet, Sven Vath, and the musical magic he wove on the decks over the last ten years in Ibiza, Bushwacka! has drawn his feeling from this and countless memorable nights there and created a massive dancefloor weapon that has been tweaked and tested around the world. ‘Westside’ creates chaos and euphoria in equal measures and is pure peak time magic.
3.Aril Brikha - Akire
Label: Poker Flat
Release date: 2011-08-17
‘Akire’ captures some glitter ball light and shines it on an electro core, letting it sparkle for eight dreamy minutes. It doesn’t try too hard and just lets all the movement come of its own will.
4.Dosem - Origin
Release date: 11.07.2011
A far cry from today’s standard of moodiness and minute details here he achieves those results once more thanks to a filtered beat intro, building to one hell of a huge drop into (dare it be said) hands in the air synth territory as the engrossing harmonies of Origin spiral every which way but down.
5.Pig & Dan - Tears of a Clown (Max Cooper Remix)
Label: Techno Therapy
Release date: 07-06-2011
Max Cooper has left an emotive mark with long pulsating bass-lines adorned with clicks and glitchy sounds.
6.Sneaker - You Think You Think
Label: Uncanny Valley
Release date: 12 May 2011
7.AKO - Rolling (Traumer Remix)
Label: That's Hot Records
Release date: 2011-11-11
8.Spooky - Polymorph (Psycatron Remix)
Release date: 11.10.2011
9.Paul Ritch - Bass Trap
Label: Quartz Rec
Release date: 2011-12-07
10.Resoe - Tanzfieber
Release date: 11th April 2011
Gesaffelstein - Aufstand/Glass
Kadebostan - Mon Petit Soleil d'Algerie
Roberto Capuano - Oblique
Pig & Dan - Guiding Lights (Seismal D Light Inversion Remix)
Christiano Balducci – Pride
Stephane Signore – Sacrifice (Radical G – 2011 Edit)
Up next is Minimal & Deep House
Happy listing & sharing

Leon Bolier: Cape Town, Yesterday Eve, Staircase

here is mines :)
1.Deniz Kurtel - The L Word I listened to this and fell instantly in love :3
2.Vril - UV Same here again... this one additionally blows your ears away... I cannot describe the feeling I had while listening to this live at Berghain! that bass... I think that never ever any track in the future will give me that feeling again!
3.Deniz Kurtel - Music Watching Over Me And Deniz Kurtel did it again for me as she played this track live at Panorama Bar where the vocals where at their climax "Music Watching Over Me... Music Watching Over Me... Music Watching Over Me.." and you close your eyes and then suddenly she drops some voices of birds and leafs GOSH that night I will never forget :)
4.Sarp Yilmaz - Donīt Go On Me as I mix a lot these days this one was my favourite track to begin my mix with :) and further it should not hide its beauty cause Sarp Yilmaz has a unique style to be honest how much effort he puts onto each track just stunning this guy :)
5.Emika - Count Backwards (Marcel Dettmann Remix) oh hold on first remix on my list :P yeah this time way heavier than the one before but besides Dettmannīs monotone style this one is a bit different apart from his usual releases and that smooth and hard rolling bassline :3
6.Uniforms - March Of No Coincidence (Deniz Kurtel Remix) and this one again played by herself at Panorama Bar that night and an absolutely killer track that clears the floor!
7.Deniz Kurtel - The Best Of (Denizīs Freestyle Remix) whoooww whhoowww well this one has a special place in my heart :D that heavy bassline plus the melody = <3
8.Maya Jane Coles - The High Life this one does not need any explanation ;)
9.Eats Everything - Entrance Song bass bass bass nothing more!
10.Lando Kal - Further every second of this track is pure gold! the way I enjoy Dubstep :)

I did a new mix ... hope you enjoy it! (September 2013)
Here's my "house" oriented list for 2011. I have probably left some brilliant ones out but what can you do...
Elijah Collins & Nist - Love's Down
Samples an old disco/boogie record which I can't quite put my finger on. Nonetheless this is def one of the bigger records of the year for me.
Tomas Malo - We're Gonna Make It
Another sample monster... Deep, groovy and funky as hell. Probably one in my top 3 of the year.
Julio Bashmore - Battle For Middle You
Probably one of the heaviest club tracks of 2011. Bass'y, groovy and has that fantastic and edgy sound. Julio Bashmore is one to watch in 2012 for sure! Bristol, UK offers a lot of talent in 2011, check out the next track below
Eats Everything - Entrance Song
Another bass heavy monster from Bristol based producer Eats Everything. This would the only track from him that has really got me hooked but man - what a tune!
Alain Ho - Into A Deep (Hot Toddy Remix)
This track is probably one of the best Hot Toddy tracks I've heard yet. Huge Hot Toddy fan here and this one blew me away! Deep House as a genre, seems so trendy and often dire at the moment but this one is so unique and def marks one of the highlights of 2011 for me.
Honom - Bedcat
Swedish producer with a nice balearic feel to his productions. In 2010 he was the man behind 2 of my 'tunes of the year' and this year he nails it again with 'Bedcat'. Groovy, new-school, Nu Disco.
Iain O'Hare - I'll Come Running
The fact that I'm a huge fan of the movie "American Psycho" only got me even more hooked on this lovely track, which samples Genesis "Sussudio". One to check out for all Nu Disco fans.
MAM - Share your Love
Lovely slow jam here with some fantastic vocals. This makes you want to make love!
Lando Kal - Maneuver
No idea what the genre can be described as... Dubstep maybe? I don't know. Lovely trippy track, with some edge and a soulful feel to it.
Kraak & Smaak feat. Romanthony - Let's Go Back (Solomun Remix)
I really hope to hear this one in a club soon. The bass and the powerful vocal - wouldn't be able to resist singing along to this one. A great year for Solomun and this, for me, marks one of better works.
Maceo Plex - Stop Your Hate
Maceo was already well-known under his Maetrik alias with labels such as Cocoon. This year was a breakthrough year when released his "Life Index" album under this new guise. For me "Stop Your Hate" is his best one this year with "Your Style" coming in as a close second.
Blank & Jones - This Feeling
Still quite surprised that B&J haven't gotten more credit for some of their recent house offerings. Well-produced, balearic, feel-good and summer'ish house music.
Roberto Rodriques - I Got
Such a catchy and brilliant tune. Nuff said!
Benoit & Sergio - Let Me Count The Ways (Original Mix)
Still amazed of how well these guys have done for themselves in 2011. Loving their diversity and originality. This is one is quite dark and kind of trancey.
Volta Cab - Trapped In Illusion
Lovely track with some fantastic sampled vocals - from where, I don't know. Slow, groovy and relaxing. Volta Cab is without a doubt one of my heroes this year.
Daniel Bortz - Other Guys
Lovin' this one!
Dosem - Origin
HUGE year for Dosem. Have been a big fan since his "Beach Kisses" (no, not the Joris "remix"). This year he released an album and a compilation and he's churned out loads of good remixes. "Origin" has to be my favourite work of his in 2011 - mega stadium shaker!
