Hello everyone I was just wondering if any of you know how to make a piano sound from scratch using sylenth 1 or something like it? Thanks for helping me out with this in advance, I'm hoping to use this in my new trance track.

Why not use a Piano-sound from a VST ? Try Nexus, if you dont have it already. It has about 10 + piano-sounds, from housey to trancy.
I don't know how to make a piano-sound. Maybe you could look it up on Google or Youtube ?
EDIT:
Found a Tutorial for you.

He uses FL Studio though, but i guess you can learn anyway![]()

If you do not have acoustic piano yourself, wheter you cant sample it, i suggest HIGHLY using sampler and using a piano preset. Crafting it out yourself could take ages to get it sound half-decent (to somebody), IF you do not have the recording equipment and instruments you need (not even speaking of recording enviroment, editing and all that jazz)!

You can't actually made piano sound from scratch with subtractive synthesis, which sylenth 1 uses (or can you, atleast I've never
ever seen a preset sound piano-ish). You can, however, with wavetable based synths and FM synths, but there should be presets
for such a sought-after sound. Also, any half decent rompler should have a piano sound sample and I bet there are some out there
that are free.
Point being, google "piano vsti" and that's that![]()

Thanks for the replies, think I might check and see if Sylenth has any good piano presets.

I've never come across any piano sounds on sylenth. There are some in Nexus.
But if you want good piano sounds, I'd say go for Miroslav Philharmonik or East West Symphonic Orchestra (the best) products.

Try TruePiano vst, I just got it a few weeks ago and its very good for clean piano sounds, I have used in my forthcoming track. If you want piano sounds with crazy effects blended in then look no further than Omnisphere, although the sounds in there can sometimes be too complex![]()
