Don't you think it will be good to have a chat in the forum? I think it will help to clean many parts of the forum, silly questions are made and answered there, and also to have a nice time in times of total boredom.
I can say from previous experiences that a chat would not be visited well and conversations would die out soon.

I'd say it's not worth it. There was a chat feature on a Chelsea forum I used to use, and football of course always has stuff going on and there were more users on there than we have on here, but even that was dead!
