Something we cooked up this morning. Far from done but I think it sounds pretty cool. And it's a darker song which is a nice change up.

Been working on this track lately back and forth with JH and he uploaded what we have so far. Renamed to "Dragonfish".

Hey Amber! Where have you been?


Track sounds great so far though I have a few things to keep in mind:

Mixing: stuff is basically in balance but you could add some better nuances. Try to soften some gains where you can.
The stuff you use in the background appears to be good and makes it lively though at some points there are too much loud channels.

Examples:
The fill arround 3:30 - 4:00. Too much elements seeking for attention, also there is too much clipping on the master channel.
The synthetic snares you are using at 6:00 seem to be too loud which pushes away the rest of the channels instead of adding that extra bit of energy.

hahaha I know I know, I've been a bit of a lurker for the past bit. Crazy busy at the moment. Mainly because I'm back on working graveyard shifts at the animal hospital. If I ain't working, I'm sleeping hahaha. But thank you for the tips and feedback. Yea, I knew there were a lot of clipping and mixing issues. What do you think of the structure? Especially around 2:50ish. I'm on the fence on whether it's too abrupt.
