Has anyone else got a problem with this? Every video, especially music videos, have extremely heavy/distorted bass now. It only started about a week ago - I've checked all my settings and played music via iTunes ect and it all sounds fine; it's only YouTube that has a problem.

noticed the exact thing since a week B_D, thought it was only me, lol was checking my presets, woofer, etc..

Good to hear we're not alone! Must be something to do with the actual website then.
Isn't because of the sound quality of the track and the volume? I mean rarely you find 320 in YT
It's happened to me as well, but not very much (don't remember which videos), and not on the track you posted in this thread B_D.

It depends on who made the video.
Some programs like sony vegas do that to the tracks if you keep them at normal volume, as i said many tracks being released these days and especially trance, have to much rms.
When compressed they started distorting (like for example from wave to 320 or 128 kbs)
I have had this problem aswell. If i remembered exactly which tracks i was listening to when i had the problem, i would post it here, but i can't remember atm.
right now i dont have the problem. I have no idea what causes the problem though.
