Frankly, when they work together it's not my thing, maybe Greyhound for clubs.

But when they work apart, I think it's better, especially Steve Angello's tracks.

Am I the only one who misses the good old days of house? You know, Todd Terry, David Morales, Deep Dish? I liked how funky House used to be. Nowadays the most common understanding of house is a mediocre track with a few robot vomit samples and 4x4 claps (which, in most cases, is enough to make it a mainstream hit and get it played on lots of commercial radio stations). Not talking about Tech, Tribal, Minimal and Progressive House, those styles are still gold

Deep Dish - Flashdance will be a timeless House track for me, really groovy.

    hahaha spot on!

the actual problem is that the mediocre and cheap music that Dell-Ta is talking about is being called house, when in fact it is NOT house, it's just commercial dance music...
Tune of 2007: Luke Warner & Mat Lock - Deep Psychosis [Daniel Kandi´s Cure Mix]
Tune of 2008: Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Walk The Edge [Alex M.O.R.P.H. B2B Woody van Eyden Remix]
Tune of 2009: Bobina - Invisible Touch [Ferry Corsten's Touch]
Tune of 2010: Jon O'Bir feat. Fisher - Found A Way [Joint Operations Centre Remix]
Tune of 2011: Andrew Bayer - From The Earth (Breakfast Remix)

Yeah, but well... Shit happens! I don't think people really call it house, most call it club music or something. Either way, as long as the music itself is still there it's not such a problem.

believe me, people are actually calling it house... a lot of people that i've met had told me "hey I listen to house", and I say "oh really, which djs/producers do u like?" then they say the obvious "afrojack, avicii, nicky romero, stuff like that"... besides, online stores like beatport keep calling this music "progressive house" , putting them in the same genre as real prog house like jaytech, dinka, gai barone, and lot of others that are indeed progressive house ... they should make a new genre called "club house" for this kind of new music...

i think that stuff should simply be called Pop-EDM. It is Electronic Dance Music, but with obvious influences from Popmusic. Unfortantly Pop-EDM doesnt sound as cool as Progeressive House... yo im so Pr0 i listen to Avicii & Nickey Romero Pr0gressive House

Everybody knows that this would happen. After all SHM was, from my point of view, and undercover way of marketing of the three producers. Now that their "cache" has risen enough, they split up. If things go wrong they will come together again, so easy.

It's no news for me :P Too bad David Guetta is not a project and can't split... I don't know how it is possible but although I don't listen to him he really makes me nervous. Everybody talk about him thinking they are cool.

Nah, they just had some singles for fun I think.

Then "one" suddenly became the ultimate summer hit 2010, so then they decided to cash in for a bit. We all would have.
