    *update!!!!!*

    Brazillian tour was delayed!!!

Original news in one brazillian website:
DJ Paul Van Dyk adia turnê brasileira para março

O DJ alemão Paul Van Dyk (foto) adiou as apresentações que faria no Brasil nesta quinta, sexta e sábado, dias 25, 26 e 27.

    27/01 - Ibiza - Bal. Camboriú (SC)

    My translation of the news:

DJ Paul Van Dyk delays brazillian tour to march

The german Dj Paul Van Dyk (photo) delayed the events in Brazil that was suppose to be this thursday, friday and saturday, days 25, 26 e 27.

The reason of the decision was "Didn't get the approval for the event in Guarujá city", as it was announced the note released by the event organization.

The now days "Best Dj in the world" as the votation of britsh magazine DJ Mag, his tour includes places like his homeland and New York this week and thats one reason that he can't come this week to Brazil.

Even after sudden cancel, he told that is going to come in march. He was suppose to play at:

    25/01 - Hotel Sofitel - Guarujá/SP
    26/01 - Cozumel - Xangri-lá(RS)
    27/01 - Ibiza - Bal. Camboriú (SC)

    Thats really sad!!!

    But C'est la vie!

Hehehe yeah! Brazil is bringing really good djs... And events like SKOL BEATS (one event that usualy happens in May) that now is the Largest E-music event of Latin America give us oportunity to show our potencial... for example last 3 editions of SKOL BEATS we had djs like (remmember that is a E-music event not only trance) Armin van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden, Sasha & John Digweed, Mauro Picotto, Steve Angello, Sven Vath, Timo Maas, Tiga, Astrix, Martin Solveig, DJ Marky, Dj Patife, Loco Dice, Benny Benassi, FISCHERSPOONER, X-Press2 and Marco V... just to name some of known names...
If Paul van Dyk wasn't delayed... in this last 2 months we would have had... Armin van Burren, Tiësto and Paul van Dyk...

And for SKOL BEATS 2007 one safe source told me that Sander van Doorn is one of confirmed names...

    CheerS !!!

    Yuki,

One safe source I have told me those informations about Skol Beats...
Skol Beats this year will happen in 2 dates (First time that will happen) to avoid problems like last year...
Sander van Doorn is confirmed but... I'd prefer to give my confirmation about that when the event is closer... So I avoid have to justify anything just like happened with PvD...
About Rio Funk (Carioca Funk) well I'm sure that Skol Beats won't have it (not too much) but the focus for Psy-Trance and Drum'n'bass make sure that that is going to be keeped cause that's what people goes to (unfortunaly)...

For those that don't know SKOL BEATS is know as the LARGEST E-MUSIC EVENT IN LATIN AMERICA... And for the fact that the sponsor is SKOL (one giant brazilian brewery that is part of Inbev)... so that event is know as "THE EVENT WHERE BEER IS CHEAPER THEM WATER" what is a fact! Beer is 0,47USD and Water is 1,42USD

Well PvD give us a second change really is massive... Cause just a fill djs would do that... most of them would keep on his(her) schedule... Mainly cause the problem that canceled the presentations in January wasn't for his cause but of the organization and of one of the cities that was suppose to host it...

    Cheers!
