    i used to love using the simple recording programs you can download for free, when recording, but ive since moved up to logic for my recording needs (whatever that may be)

    Cooledit

    Cooledit can do the trick (i think it's from adobe now). It has multiple track-support

    I use Audacity and I have a really small crappy computer and it works excellent for remixing as well as recording sets

    record audio from pc

    How about this utility? i just do some googling, then stumble upon streaming music recorder that helps you record streaming sound from computer. Any audio that you hear from your computer can be recorded.
