
Only six months since his last mix CD, Misja is working on a new concept for a mix album:Beyond Tomorrow. Misja, as well as his management Extended Music, are currently looking for brand new and unsigned tracks that can be used in his 80-minute continuous DJ mix. Misja will record this CD live in front of an audience, at Quest4Trance in Gorinchem on the 12th of November

The genre Misja is looking for, according to him, is from “melodic-progressive to uplifting trance. The BPM range will be from 128 to 136”.

Slower music can be just as good as fast music. Sied van Riel’s latest comp also started at 128 BPM and is brilliant.
Exactly. It’s just about how the sounds blend with the chosen tempo, of course a 130 bpm with a banging content will sound like a piece of shit, it’s all matter of balancing.
That’s the problem with a good part of tech trance being released nowadays…
Few Heatbeat ones and the latest Ozcan one are perfect examples.
