You may remember Slam Duck from his previous release we did a review of, Mercury EP. We certainly do. However brilliant that one was, this – we promise you – is even more amazing.
In fact, it is so good we might even call it one of the best progressive trance tracks in quite a few years. It has just got it all. Soft bassline lies underneath, enriched by warm plucks, beautiful vocals, driving riff with a hint of acid, and – we kept the best for last – the pads. Every time they get played, it’s a goosebump-inducing moment. It is all so carefully put together, resulting in a sublime and dreamy progressive track, a journey. Words aren’t very useful here, a track like this needs to be listened to and felt. This is a track you could listen to on end for hours. So start now.
It is no secret that we’re officially a fan of Slam Duck. An artist that has the potential to leave a pretty big mark on progressive trance as a genre. We could really get used to this level of quality. Slam Duck, hats off.
