TranceFix Review: Arkham Knights-Knightvision [Coldharbour Recordings]

Those uncanny brothers from Leeds (UK), known to the dance music world under their undeniably unique artist name, the “Arkham Knights” are back with a bang! These guys can’t seem to keep quiet on the music front for too long. Their ideas and creative flow of sound textures and rhythm are a constant continuity within them. Stuart and Ben , have given us a plethora of heavy hitters such as “Knightfall”, “Odyssey“, “Another Dimension” plus tremendous E.P’s such as “Fall From Innocence” and “State Of Mind“. Gracing some of the world’s biggest events and festivals with their performances is another statement in their already successful portfolio. The brothers are eager to continue gaining a loyal following through their signature sound, the perfect harmony between the genres of techno and trance.

The name of their new creation is cleverly dubbed “Knightvision” and is out now on “Coldharbour Recordings“. As with their very first single “Knightfall“, the guys dig deep into their imagination and bring forth something grand. Dark, techy, stripped back rhythms move in accordance to the minimal percussion and the tech-trance lead that is clearly not of this world. In the midst of the aural creation of this hazy world, the well awaited break makes its appearance, like a mysterious stranger. Enigmatic, dark, twisted melodies and a subtle yet enchanting choir put us in a slight daze, like the calm before the storm. Clearly so, when the buildup arrives , it unleashes its ruthless leads like a wild tempest, bringing the crowd to a frenzy much like the accursed hounds of the underworld are hot on our trail.

Ecstatic, mind boggling trance by some of the finest producer duos out there. This is a track that holds the pure essence of the “Arkham Knights” origin. Another anthem they can proudly claim in the dance music cosmos.
