Did Stoneface & Terminal release a template or is this plain out plagiarism?

Reverse -Distant Destiny [2010]PVD - I Don’t Deserve You (main melody more noticeable here in the Giuseppe Ottaviani Remix than in the original) [2012]

Madonna - What It Feels Like For A Girl (A&B Remix) [2001]
John O’Callaghan - Boban [2012]

Scooter probably takes the title for rip off merchants right?

Every single early Dirt Devils track.

rips off/was inspired?? (or was it ghost produced??)

Mark Sherry & David Forbes' Public Domain project, tracks that came before Above & Beyond, examples:
https://soundcloud.com/publicdomainsoundsystem%2Fbm-dubs-pres-mr-rumble-feat

I'm not sure what you're saying here...?

Which Dirt Devils tracks do you think ripped off the examples you posted?

Interestingly, Above & Beyond also worked with Brasstooth in their early days. He was a member of The Croydon Dubheads, for whom Jono & Paavo provided Dirt Devils and Free State remixes, and Paavo did two solo remixes for Brasstooth under the name Silky Mac.

Also the title of A&B's Hard-On Recordings, made for Dirt Devils releases, is very likely inspired by PD's Xtrahard label.

I think this is a stretch. "Hard" describes the style of trance they made, and a "Hard On" is a common euphemism for an erection.

Can anyone confirm this one. I think I might be going crazy or just imagining it but seems someone got very 'inspired' by Ferry Corsten, just 2 months between their release too...

Songs within the same subgenre (in this case, kinda like progressive house/trance) and released so close to one another might use similar sample packs, which is why on the surface they seem similar. After hearing both for a bit, I don't think Another Ambition drew any inspiration from Ferry Corsten. In fact, Ferry Corsten's track at 1:47 reminds me of the Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time - I think they share a few chords in common. The little melody from Another surface's track is vastly different.
This is coming from someone who has no background in music. In my uneducated opinion, I think you're just imagining it. :p

Might be, never thought that someone like Ferry might use samples, but thats mostly because I am naïve maybe. There is certainly some similarities in a few points. Not saying that they stole the idea or whatnot. As for the musical background I had never learned music theory, but I have been djing for a while so I'd like to think I can hear certain things from time to time...

OOPS my bad I thought you meant me by no background in music, I might need glasses, is my face red with embarrassment. I am not going to edit the comment though and you can hear a lot more than you give yourselve credit, am saying as a long time listener that started djing recently...

I've been saving this one for a long time I even have a mash up from those two songs.

So those two, same key and from a certain point absolutely same structure and few melody similarities. I am thinking Ron With Leeds used it a reference track and hence the perfect structure similarity and maybe a few more similarites...

Just finished listening to Renegade System set on twitch few minutes ago and he played this tune, which immediately reminded me of Paradise!

I found no info about Andrea Montorsi taking a "Paradise" sample so I consider this as a straight rip-off.

Andrea Montorsi ‎- Don't Leave Me (Original Hardtrance Mix) [2007] (starting from 3:56)

Fridge - Paradise (1998) (starting from 1:26)

Surprised this one hasn't been mentioned given there was an actual law suite over it (Which Armin won)
Unless I've overlooked it?

I actually prefer the Picotto track if I'm being honest.

Also remember this causing a stir back in the day. Although I think it turned out that Kid Vicious was one of Tiesto's many ghost producers (Did he ever make a track himself ffs? ) which would explain the...uhh... "similarity"

On a side note, as a producer myself, I can kinda understand how some tracks end up with similar chord progressions, in that with a genre such as trance which can be heavily formulaic at times, it's so easy when using standard chord patterns, even classical standards, to end up with similar progressions.
It's unavoidable a lot of the time. There is a line between that and outright ripping off someone's whole progression and unique motifs, though as seen above.
Just my £0.02c

I've heard of this and even posted about it on the old forum, but I could not find a reliable source that this actually happened. Is it just a rumor? Or does a legal system somewhere have the lawsuit documents which detail the case?

It's a good point actually. I remember it being all over the old Tranceaddict forums back in the day, but now you mention it, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of reliable info on it...

An obvious rip-off from a great 2010 Blue Soho Recordings tune (imo best year for this label).

This was out on a label called "Yeislomp Records", unfortunately found no info about the producer, most likely a russian dude.

Elian West - Warm Hearts (Original Mix) [2018] (starting from 1:51)

Outwalkers - Eternal Flame [2010] (starting from 3:12)
