Tracks That You Play In Particular Order (Creating Journeys)

I love making playlists and creating journeys through careful selection of the tracks' order.
Which tracks would you play one after another and why?

Here's three tracks that I love playing in this particular order:

Airwave - I Want To Believe (Dolphin Mix)
Followed by
Schiller - Das Glockenspiel (Humate Remix)
Followed by
Mike Push - Universal Nation (Original)

They all have a particular mysterious space theme going on, seem to support and connect to each other, building up from deeper to more banging grooves.
I've heard Solarstone drop 2 and 3 live, in this particular oder. It was a massive feeling, unforgettable.

Ha, interesting thread. I do that sometimes myself, with playlists, but most of the time I can't be bothered. Will post some if I remember.

one sequence that always really worked for me is:

Yahel - sugar 1
followed by
Endre - kallocain (robert nickson remix)
followed by
Red karma feat. Tom Wolff - Dying to survive
followed by
Realm F vs Rankey - Nairobi (Alex M.O.R.P.H. mix)

Like @Gagi I've done this with my playlists, but not for trance. It's more like for other genres. That being said, sometimes I do hear electronic/trance-like tracks in sequence, especially if I made a DJ mix using that sequence.

John 00 Fleming - The Astrophysical Nebula
Orbital - Halcyon On and On
Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms

The tracks above make little sense and shouldn't make sense. The first is a mid-2010s psybreaks track, the second is one of those early 90s melodic classics, and the third is a mid-2000s trancy house track. Yet, the ethereal voice and bassline from Halcyon On and On matches well with the breakdown from The Astrophysical Nebula, including its little strings. Karen Overton's deep, ethereal voice is a nice contrast to the chopped vocals of Halcyon On and On. I believe each track complements well its previous track.

Another two tracks I found that worked well together:

Armin van Buuren - Virtual Friend
Heatbeat - Arganda

Similar eras, similar styles and melodies.

I'm a 00s child lol. Wasn't bad either!

Went into Trance through Cosmic Gate - The Drums album (still freaking love it!) and listened to ATB at his peak.

When I like to be in a melancholic trance mood (which is my favourite), I like to go this way:

Ferry Corsten - Sweet Sorrow (Thrillseekers Remix)

followed by

Airbase - Escape

followed by

Angelica S & Science Deal - Mirrors Of Souls (Original Mix)

followed by

Avernus pres. Arteca - Empathy (Original Mix)

and sometimes +

Arctic Quest - Renaissance (one of my favourite ever trance tunes)

So, here's the first Hot-list, from my new playlist series, which I originally wanted to present you in January!
These playlists are focused on releases I enjoy the most, carefully selected from the tonnes of music that I recently listened to.

These are not focused on one certain style, instead these feature all the diverse types of music that I listen to. So the music is not ordered from the best to least impressive!

I love all of these tracks for something else and tried to create a album or DJ set like journey to set a specific mood.
