This has a nice melody and energy to it. Not surprised that it's been snapped up by Pure Trance. Factor B makes decent uplifting stuff from what I've heard.

There he is again.

Must be some of these commercial playing "A-list-s" manager or personal agent or something. Theres something lurky going on here. Clearly theres some agenda behind these butt-hurt comments. Its always in the same threads with the same big-player modern steroid/cheesy/generic productions.

Its better People are honest about tunes made like tjis. Its not about negativity. Are people loving the Hutan Track without rim an reason behind it? Is all of the positiv commrnts there made by bots maybe? Should they not write those positive comments there? I would love to see someones comment on there why they dont like the track 😉

Go to Facebook or YouTube. I can assure you that you will most likeley feel at home on those comment sections with the warm loving 99 %positiv feedback and comments.

Me on the other hand is happy theres one single place where these generic/cheesy/cheap tunes get exposed. People write these comments because they wanna see some change or wanna see more creativity within productions and in the scene. Not because of negativity for negetivity's sake.

Saying you hate a track is over the top though. But you have to see the reason behind it.

Let's not get into another positive vs negative kind of fight. No need for an advice to leave. We all just have to start appreciating disagreement. The world tries to teach us that disagreement should mean hate and war. But that's wrong. It's good to see comments you don't agree with.

It would be good too to read why you actually do like these tracks Allywheels.

This is why the modern Trance scene went down the pan - because people proclaim and fully accept tracks like this as 'wonderful' and 'classics' when its the same generic dross just being churned out...

You're absolutely right. As long as the criticism is constructive and the comments not hateful and personal, it's ok to have them. This is the "charm" of the forums, where we can discuss, rather than leave simple comments like "good/bad/like/dislike/first/etc".

My usual smartasseness aside, this track is not that bad. Do I like it? Well, the main melody is just a bit monotone. And, of course, there's the issue of the kick. For room-listening purposes, it's too unkind to my eardrums. It's not so bad per se, it's just nothing special...

Leave the forum then...these are just opinions of people,if you want to see everyone in a big love-in then go to the fb or yt comments sections..
The replies to my comment just show exactly why producers in the main don't go on forums - the negativity around the "scene" these days is draining, and yes it is negativity Daysleeper, no matter how much you try to dress it up as criticism and wanting to see change. Start producing yourself then and see how you do.

I am nothing more than a fan of trance since 1998 when I was introduced to it with tracks like Cafe del Mar and For An Angel. I enjoy many different styles of dance music and if I don't like a track then I'll move onto something else. I don't see everything as rainbows and unicorns but I don't see how posting the kind of comments I see in this section help anyone.

Magdelayna you talking about how the modern scene went down the pan - stop listening to new stuff then and enjoy stuff from the old days - no need to be flaming another producer who is creating music they like and happens to reach loads of fans who do like it.

A few folks on here clearly don't like the majority of new stuff released nowadays - I don't understand why you would continue to be in a cycle of not enjoying stuff but listening to it and then posting comments saying how shit you think it is when you probably know before listening you won't like it - confirmation bias!

Anyway I'm probably talking to a brick wall here mainly so good luck folks, don't spend too much of your energy on things you don't like, life's too short!

I dont listen to new stuff anymore lol! Only a few producers who i know produce quality stuff...the rest is just Trance by the numbers, all done before. We can all voice our opinions here - thats why its a forum - its when the people start complaining about other peoples views which is silly, like you have.

Oh,and i supported one of his first tracks on my radio show years ago,Into The Light i think it was called - he used quite a unique sounding lead synth and it was a decent track i liked, but ever since then the productions have just got more generic with really long breakdowns, default sounding instruments and just really forgettable. My opinion - dont take offence haha!!

Well that's exactly why they should. They certainly don't have to answer to me or anyone else for that matter, but it's here where you can express the decisions regarding your own productions and your career. If you put stuff out there, expect to get some criticism - it's just the way it is.

There's also producers here, so what? Me, personally, I rather admit I've hit a wall or that I'm just not good enough for what I aspire to be, and don't try to pollute the scene if I don't think I'm contributing. Is it hard, producing? Creatively, yeah. But why put out half-baked ideas, or accept standards?

As to why do we bother - we all love music and want it to have meaning, not be a production line. It should be art, not entertainment. Why waste time on negativity, I ask myself sometimes as well. Clear negativity could be tuned down, I agree. But I think it's going towards that direction, it was worse before.

Plus, those fans who write "amazing", "toty" etc. usually will forget about the thing in three weeks, once there's something new out. As a producer, would you rather have a thousand people who think you're ok, or 10 who absolutely love your body of work? (hint: depends on your goals)

The negativity in this thread is shocking tbh. Absolutely no need to post those comments.
the tone policing from your end is also shocking. There's also absolutely no need from your end to go and tell people what they should and should not vent here.

This is a music forum for discussion, not a trance church where only praise is allowed. As a producer myself I find constructive and often harsh criticisms like overproduction, overuse of samples and genericism key inspirations to avoid those traps in future productions.

nothing but "plur" comments get you nowwhere except stuck with a stroked ego.

Well, I have to agree with the majority of people here. Factor B has crafted some nice tracks but over the last year and a half his sound has become predictable.
I still believe 'Stratos Galaxias' is his best track.
