I love the serious psychedelic music. Not much stuff you hear today on the podcasts and in all the parties and festivals around the world, its non-serious and doof doof doof jaja. Sure this stuff is good fun but I am looking for the 'thinking mans' psy-trance, for when I am in my home you know. I saw already we have the thread for the sophisticated Trance, well what about the sophisticate Psytrance?

Now this is psy I can get behind! The first track, to me, seems just like a variant of progressive trance.

I believe the first one is on the edge between chill psy and progressive psy, not 100%. Lately I am loving progressive psy. Check Morten Granau when it comes to progressive psy he is an absolute legend.

It's zenonesque (according to Ektoplazm) as it popularized by Zenon records/Sensient. But yeah, he had his own unique deep/atmospheric style.

Guyz you already sharing some great tracks. Listened to a few and have more for my weekend. Its good to hear the more serious and respectable psychedelic sounds right? Less triplet duck psy the better, although I don't mind a quack when the mood is correct :) For now keep these good ones rolling.

Yes its a hard one for the label, but I know it has some mix genre feel with a brush of psychedelic. Good track.

This stuff very squelchy, I dont know the sub-genre of psy name, its nice when in the swamp mood.
