Remember Pablo Gargano? He's back, in prog form!

Pablo Gargano is a dear old friend of label boss John 00 Fleming, they reconnected after many years after talking about music recently. John supported pretty much everything Pablo released throughout the 90's/early 00's on the legendary Eve Records and was a regular remixer on the likes of HOOJ CHOONS and Perfecto. John set Pablo and musical challenge and this is the result and the start of a new very long relationship at JOOF Recordings. A mind-blowing EP.

Summer Tribe is my favourite.

Wow, Pablo Garano was a key player in 90s trance, good to see him back.
These sound like there is a lot subtle effects in them.
He's gone for a really refined approach where nothing really stands out on its own but as a package the tracks are quite rich. And I like it. Summer, autumn and winter would be my picks at present.

Sounds of but they drums are too clinical and overly polished. And THE tempo is a little too slow.

Knock up the pace on spring and autumn and they would be decent. They plod (sorry to use that work again), they could really be energetic if they had some momentum.

Heard today on a JOOF Radio ,really beautiful and stand-out amongst the rest of the prog. I know this type of deep modern prog isn't the most invigorating but it does have its place, and in the right context and environment a live DJ can create something very enjoyable indeed. I can imagine being in a forest setting for an opening set and feeling that well.

Drive is fine for me (whats wrong with Spatial Autumn pace?). There is far more dull and plodding releases from the prog-scene compared to these tracks. For this genre style he nailed it, these are great with all the little details/subtleties and 100% could dance to this. Great release.
