Pity there's no decent quality versions on YouTube as this is imo a low key banger.
Not sure if you'd call it trance, though.
It's the same genre as Celldweller: electronic rock. This particular track just happens to have trance-like elements, much like Celldweller - The Last Firstborn.
Although it's not trance in the strict sense of the word, it's definitely at the trance/rock boundary that I'm surprised was not explored more.
The same goes for trance + hip-hop; this is a combination that never really happened, even though both genres coincided in time pretty well.
