Going down that dark, atmospheric progressive trip for this track.
Wanted to make something that had a bit of a cinematic vibe to it layered over a pulsating beat/bass combo.

Noticed it's been a little bit quiet in here over the past few weeks or so. So if anyone fancies having a go at remixing this, then drop me a PM and I'll hook you up with the midi/parts! :giggle: (y)

Love the cover!

And the track is so nice, with those solo vocals, reminds me of some of the works from 20+ years ago. Love what you did with it. I don't even mind the static psy bassline (which usually bothers me), here I want to know what comes next, how the track progresses... And it does so very well, surprises me at some points.

Why don't you try releasing this somewhere, such as JOOF? I would say your work is release-ready, and I don't see why you'd get rejected.

Anyway, I'd love taking a shot at this - there's a 99.9% chance I don't come up with anything, but if nothing, might get my precious creative bodily fluids flowing again.

Cheers for the feedback.
I sent this out to a few labels, but no interest sadly. Just how it goes sometimes. I have a load of other stuff in the works though, so will keep plugging away ;)

I'll sort out a zip with all the bits in later when I get a chance!

Out of interest, how long do you wait for the response? Have any given their feedback or just straight-up no response?

Actually finished this track in late Jan and sent it out then.
Got a couple of generic 'full schedule' type responses from some. Nothing from most. It's sat on my drive since then.

To be honest, I probably need to work on my 'demo sending' a bit more as I am admittedly a bit laissez faire about chasing stuff up.
Also I move on from tracks a bit too quickly as well, I really need to slow down a bit in all honesty

I like it. Saw it on bandicamp. Yeah I don't get it, the prog break one was great too. Just had an idea I don't know if Sasha is going for a next album. He releases prog breaks albums/compilations with underground artists. Try him for you other song.

Also labels are a mess atm. I mean it feels like more of the stuff never gets a listen at all. And I see so badly mixed songs, not that we are at our best. But come on even some of the bigger name artists release subpart music, just because their names carry weight.

Was thinking you were a bit impatient, waiting for less than 2 weeks (which is the unwritten standard, as far as I know), but damn. That's a long time. It's too good a track (and especially your breaks one) for smaller labels anyways. Maybe this is the best choice then, and the word of mouth will be your best marketing strategy, hopefully with our help.

Another solid one from you mate! It's very nice. The percs maybe feel a little flat to me, but the change in bass key really helps keeps things moving. Want more rhythmic groove to the beat rather than this one which feels a bit straightforward, heavy, sluggish. The actually moods and emotions though I love.

Was just browsing this section to update it a bit, and saw this one. Had to listen to it again. Still love it, both mixes in fact! One of your best.
