I was in too minds as to post this yesterday. I'm lazy too.

Not bad but I wish those strings would have flowed through when it picked back up.

Loving this. It's has some Baseline vibes.

Yeah I intended it as a follow up to Baseline, started out as a mess around on Roland TB-03 then started to come together with the rhythmic bassline and harsh bass stab sequences. J00F Records turned down 'Baseline', so I was really happy they accepted this. Glad you like it.

Funnily enough I have been thinking about doing an alternative version doing exactly this. But I wanted this tune to build and build with layers of acidy sounds after doing loads of melodic and chilled stuff on my album. The pads in the breakdown were an accident. I was trying to make a layer but it evolved really nicely after being put through Valhalla reverb that I made the short breakdown with it. It's two synths - one playing chords, one doing the single note pads over the top, then two filtered vocal samples blended in - not the gated vocal over the top - that's separate to it.

Cool man. Great minds!
Be interesting to hear if you ever get around to it.

Just moved from Melbourne to Tasmania so re-building the studio! I've got a collab with Cosmithex and a remix for Pure Trance to get done, then I'll re-visit this as well as the unfinished 'B' sides from the second album.

Thanks mate : )
This tune and 'Baseline' are a bit different to some of my other stuff, I blame the Aussie bush techno festivals. Loads of acid and techno : )

Seems like you have a lot of work on mate.

Looking forward to the new material as I imagine most will be.

Yeah! After 23 years of producing I finally get a dedicated room for it in our new house. I was always shoehorned into corners of other rooms before, which isn't easy with hardware synths!

Nice man. You will have to share some pics when it's set up. I know a few people on here would be interested.
