I am really nervous about posting this here because I'm pretty much a bedroom producer.
But this track turned out pretty good and I felt like sharing it with the world, maybe I have a chance at being good at this. I absolutely love Trance and have been trying to produce something decent for months, this one I really felt proud of (despite being a bootleg).

All criticism is accepted, just be fair. I don't know music theory at all, I don't even have a MIDI Keyboard.

My main inspirations are Above & Beyond and Anjunabeats, and if you couldn't tell 2000s trance too.

Nice vibe, similar to old trace so as you said I can see the influence of 2000s clearly. In my opinion white noise is a bit too obvious and seems a bit random. Vocal could more be more processed, reverb maybe? Good work and hope to see more from you!

You mean the uplifters and downlifters? Or the supersaw?

Yeah, perhaps...
Good work and hope to see more from you!

Thanks for the feedback!! You will, I am working on yet another bootleg! The current one proved to be quite a challenge at first but now sounds very cool to my ears.
(I probably need to start posting my original productions or I'll get sued by some random record company for doing too many bootlegs😅)

I mean white noise for example in 0.59 or 3.53 - doesn't seem to blend as good with the song. Perhaps it could stay but mixed differently, something you need to experiment with I guess.

Don't think you will get sued as long as you are not becoming a superstar :) of course for official release could be a problem with the label - originals are always safe :)

Not a bad effort. I am in love the original and its a pretty iconic sample. I think it works somewhat here, ultimately I think it sounds too fast and would like to hear the track or sample used at a slightly lower BPM. The melody also feels a little too sped up for my own taste. Some positives are that your synths, bass and effects sound pretty nice and not overly flat or over-crammed with walls of sounds. I do think there is room for more detail in the background though to make it feel less simple. Either way keep practising you will get there eventually.
