Its pretty easy to do if you just put everything that you really like directly in a playlist. I have been using Itunes for nearly 20 years and have various playlists for my music. One main playlist with all the music that i listen to constantly and one playlist with tracks that are nearly good enough for me to spend my precious time listening to. I tag all the tracks in my main playlist with correct genre, artist names and the year i assume they were made in. Yes im a fucking nerd..

Great form and flexibility. I had a very hard time and I choose only the more trancy and still stuff I listened more throughout the year. Many fantastic releases from Anjunadeep, Colorize and Steyoyoke but I felt I had to choose more trancy and trance progressive stuff.

Well, it seems like I am the first one who completely reveales his vote I have a lot of favorites from other genres, some of them were even posted here during the year but I will try to stick to trance as such (e.g. I don't consider Anjunadeep to be trance label etc.). It's hard to line up a final TOP 10 so the tracks are listed more or less randomly based on current feelings. And it has been confirmed that I am probably a sucker for vocals

Best label: Pure Trance Recordings (and its sublabels, for trying to bring something fresh and original)

Voted , Haven't heard all of the tracks listed out there mainly progressive house, techno stuff. Out of the remaining went with pure progressive and uplifting tracks. Matahari was easily the top pick for me here.

But now we are opening it to allow the community here to vote too, helping us make a higher quality list and one that better reflects the wider scene and tastes we have here. The top 50 will be released alongside a final year report in early January!

To make remembering a little easier we put together this spreadsheet which contains all the popular and potential highlights from this forum through the year. Feel free to review it to help your vote. If you can’t think of 10 good tracks, that’s also fine, fill out as much or as little as you want. Hoping that the followers of Uplifting/Tech sounds can give some good suggestions so the list isn’t too skewed to the underground/prog sounds

Will be interesting to see who the best album is. Origins vs N3ON…? Or maybe something else? Hard one. Also best track.... A tie up between the two Enigma state tracks or is something else deserving perhaps? Look forward to seeing your guys submissions.
