hes been my fav producer since i heard opera of northern ocean, and it was an exciting time around 2014 when he had all these IDs floating around he was at the top of his game, and then just silence, nothing, no releases, no updates nothing. it sucks.

i know he left coldharbour for afterglow (i think with wellenrausch) but thats all i know, i tried writing him on both facebook and instagram but nothing.

did he die?
is he a ghost producer?

the production behind his tracks are still unparalleled.

any help would be appreciated.

This is something that I have wondered as well. Maybe someone else knows better why he disappeared completely from the scene.

So many memorable tunes from him: Bella Monaco, Valley of Dreams, Hidden Treasures and the list goes on. What a legend.

Given that the name isn't too common, and programming is a pretty common job for (ex) music producers.... I would say this is his LinkedIn profile:

If those jobs are fulltime, they might consume a lot of his time. Most likely just another guy who grew up into family/job life. Meanwhile, in 2019 this came out (edit: see below, it's a re-release.... so no.... not 2019 ;) ):

He was one of my biggest inspirations back in the day. It was Opera Of Northern Ocean that inspired my very first release. I too have tried getting in touch with him, but no luck. Hope he’s okay.

Good detective work, I appreciate you. I guess being a programmer is more lucrative than being a golden eared producer. Kinda sad, but if thats best for himself and family cant blame him you know

I contacted him not long time ago, he was too busy with his work and family matters. He told me that all the music he played will eventually get released, but in a right time.
Praying this is true. But until it happens I won't really believe it. Ill just keep listening to his old livesets

Loved this one, probably the last one I bought from him... over 10 years now

Immense track.

What I loved in Rex Mundi was the diversity in his productions. He could produce a dark and driving track like Sandstone and release a completely different track next time (for example Bella Monaco), but it always had that recognizable Rex sound.

Bella Monaco, Sunset In Ibiza (Drive Mix) and Dakota - Sin City Remix were all absolutely superb.

His remix of Probspot - Blueberry was probably one of the biggest mistakes though, sadly.

Wish he would return. Even one or two tracks would be appreciated as he brings the uniqueness to all his productions and you cant find it in others. One day he must have decided to never open his music software again...
